The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey (MARCO) presents a retrospective of one of the most important architects and innovators of our times: Norman Foster from Great Britain.
Winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, Foster is a forerunner in architectural design and sustainable urban planning and his prestigious firm Foster + Partners has been responsible for some of the icons of contemporary architecture. Among them are the outstanding Great Court of the British Museum, the Reichstag in Berlin and the new terminal (the world’s largest) of the Beijing International Airport.
The show is a survey of 227 projects realized in twenty countries: plans, drawings, maquettes, large-scale photographs and videos. It includes the master plan of the Campus Biometrópolis, his firm’s first work in Mexico.
