No entry to have been published previously, or to have been accepted for publication in any other magazine, bulletin, etc. 3. All entries to be submitted with a covering page giving the title of the article, the name(s) of the author or authors, address, telephone number, profession, name of the institution for which they work, if relevant, and a brief ten-line summary of the content. 4. All articles should observe the following criteria: a) Originals to be presented on diskette or CD or typed out with double spacing on one side of A4 paper without any handwritten corrections. No page should exceed thirty lines, each page to be appropriately numbered as also any notes to be appended – on separate sheets at the end of the article.

Bibliographical references should adhere to norms common to scientific publications and all relevant details should figure. 5. In the seven-day period allowed for making corrections, no substantial amendments or additions to the text will be allowed. 6. Copyright on articles featuring in the magazine is the property of the Museum of Fine Arts of Santander and its permission will have to be given for any subsequent publication. 7. The authors of articles will be paid for their work. An additional remuneration, though proportionately smaller, will be made to those authors who submit more than one commentary on a bibliographical, expositional or of a news-related nature for “Varia”. 8. Authors to receive one free copy of the magazine. 9. The Museum, in accordance with the editorial criteria of the scientific committee of the magazine, reserves the right to decide on the publication of any work submitted.

NORMAS DE LA REVISTA DEL MUSEO DE BELLAS ARTES DE SANTANDER 1. Los trabajos se enviarán al Museo de Bellas Artes de Santander (C/ Rubio 6. 39001 Santander. Tel.: 942 20 31 20, Fax: 942 20 31 25, e-mail: museo@ayto-santander.es). 2. Los trabajos deberán ser inéditos y no estar aprobados para su publicación en ninguna otra revista, boletín, etc. 3. Los trabajos irán precedidos de una hoja en la que figure el título del trabajo, el nombre del autor o autores, dirección, teléfono, situación profesional, así como nombre de la institución en que desempeñan su labor profesional, si así fuera y un breve resumen de unas diez líneas del contenido. 4. Los artículos, se ajustarán a las siguientes características: a) Los originales se presentarán en soporte informático CD/DVD/E-MAIL. Cada página tendrá un máximo de treinta líneas; las páginas irán numeradas correlativamente así como las notas, que se adjuntarán como notas a pie de página.

b) Los artículos tendrán, en general, una extensión aproximada de unos treinta folios máximo. c) Los artículos de investigación y ensayo deberán presentarse con un prefacio o síntesis en español e inglés de 10 ó 15 líneas. d) Además de los artículos mecanografiados, se pueden enviar fotografías -siempre en blanco y negro, o para ser editadas en blanco y negro, que siempre correrán económicamente a cargo del autor-, con sus correspondientes pies de foto, numeradas, reservándose el Museo la edición de todas o parte de las mismas. e) Cuadros, mapas, gráficos, tablas, figuras, etc., deberán ser originales y se deberán presentar preferentemente en papel vegetal y correctamente rotulados; las citas bibliográficas se ajustarán a las normas habituales en revistas científicas, cuidando no falte ningún dato imprescindible. 5. En la corrección -que se tendrá un plazo de siete días- no se admitirán variaciones significativas ni adicionales al texto. 6. Los derechos de edición de la publicación de los artículos en la Revista, son del Museo de Bellas Artes de Santander y es necesario su específico permiso para cualquier reproducción. 7. Los autores del artículo percibirán una cantidad económica; otra remuneración menor y proporcional, la recibirán los autores que aporten más de un comentario bibliográfico, expositivo o de noticias en “Varia”. 8. Los autores recibirán gratuitamente un ejemplar de la Revista. 9. El Museo -desde la redacción científica de la Revista- decidirá la aceptación o no de los trabajos.
