“Digitalisation offers us the opportunity to create alternate realities, as well as to modify our own. (…) Even though digital nativity offers us the possibility to create emotional networks that otherwise wouldn’t be possible within our physical reality, it ironically results in an alienation of our physical and emotional experiences. Alienating the body and its tactual capabilities. Generating an interconnectivity of distant intimacies ends up becoming abstract projections of ourselves and the places we do not naturally inhabit. At the end, these digital mechanisms and interactions become evidence of Bodies and a Spaces that either do not exist in any material reality or aren’t physical present."
