Nicholas Davis is a junior Voice Performance Major at University of the Pacific. He is an American tenor from Aptos, California. Davis began his musical career at Cabrillo College, Aptos, as a classical guitar player. After Davis joined Cabrillo Chorale, his first choir director and mentor, Cheryl Anderson, soon noticed his unique tenor voice and affinity for intonation. She suggested he pursue a degree in vocal performance. Most of Davis’ solo work is from the chorale repertoire. He made his opera debut at the Pacific Opera Theatre in the production of The Beggar’s Opera by John Gay. Other notable masterworks he has performed include Beethoven’s Mass in C Major, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, and Handel’s Messiah.
