Bassoonist Justin Silva is a music performance major at University of the Pacific, where he studies with Nicolasa Kuster. Justin has performed with ensembles including Pacific Wind Bands, University Symphony Orchestra, Mahler at Pacific, and Pacific Bassoon Studio at Meg Quigley Bassoon Symposium in Tucson, Arizona. He has played on and off campus with his student-formed chamber group, Cascade Trio. He has performed in San Francisco’s Davies Hall as a member of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra. Silva is vice president of the Pacific Repertoire Orchestra, managing the creative and technical aspects of rehearsals and performances. OCTOBER 19, 2024, 12:00 PM
