This recital is presented as a degree requirement for a Bachelor of Music in jazz studies.
Bergen Finley is an up-and-coming musician and composer majoring in jazz studies and music management at University of the Pacific. He has had the privilege to study jazz guitar and composition under Barry Finnerty, Steve Homan, Sean Britt, and Joe Mazzaferro for the last several years. Inspired by legendary musicians such as Pat Martino, Bill Evans, and George Benson, Finley continues to pursue a career playing live music throughout the Bay Area and Central Valley. He also has had the privilege to record in the studio with several phenomenal artists and is preparing to record his debut album as a bandleader composer in 2025.
