Marwan Ghonima’s love of music is the foundation of his individuality. Born in Houston, Texas, he grew up playing bass for local bands that played various genres including blues, R/B, and pop. As he made his way into high school, he fell in love with jazz bass. He studies jazz bass at Pacific with Gerry Pineda. His passion for his craft has taken him across the country and has given him ample experience as a working musician. He is grateful for the opportunities he’s been given and plans to pursue music as a full-time career. music.pacific.edu
