Santa's Sour A delicious sour that will be neon red! 1.5 oz Brandy (preferably Bertoux) 0.5 oz Campari 0.75 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice 0.5 oz Simple Syrup (2:1 Sugar:Water) 1 dash Angostura Bitters 0.25 oz 100% Cranberry Juice (not cranberry juice ‘cocktail’)

Build all ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into a coupe or martini glass.

You Serious Clark? A sort of single serve Egg Nog by way of a classic “Flip” build - named after a line from the movie Christmas Vacation 1.5 oz Aged Rum (anything aged at least 6 years) 0.75 oz Jägermeister 0.25 oz Crème de Menthe (preferably Tempus Fugit) 0.25 oz Simple Syrup (2:1 Sugar:Water) 1 pinch Salt 1 Whole Egg

Build all ingredients in a shaker without ice, seal and shake three or four times. Open the shaker, add ice and shake harder and a little longer that normal. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a punch glass. If you have a live Christmas Tree, clip a 1 inch long tip off of one of the branches and rest it in the center of the drink for an aromatic garnish! If not, grate a bit of nutmeg over the top.

Peppermint Toddy This is a very simple recipe, but the spiced honey syrup & the peppermint tea should have it exploding with yule-tide cheer! 1.5 oz Brown Spirit (Bourbon or Brandy or Rum, or a ½ oz of all 3!) 0.75 oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice 1 oz Spiced Honey Syrup (recipe on next page) Peppermint Tea

Steep your pepper mint tea in a separate vessel according to the instructions for your tea, typically 3-5 minutes in water between 190°-210°. While tea is steeping, build cocktail in a hot cocktail mug, or a coffee mug if you prefer, so long as it is around 8-10 ounces. Top the mug with your brewed tea and stir lightly to combine. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Spiced honey syrup for Peppermint Toddy 10 oz Honey 10 oz Water 4 Cinnamon Sticks 6 Cloves 6 Allspice Berries (lightly cracked open) Large pinch of salt Add all ingredients to a small pot and bring to a low boil over high heat, whisking occasionally. Once boil has been reached, remove from heat, cover, and allow to steep for 20 minutes. Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl, and refrigerate. Once the syrup has cooled, bottle and store for up to 2 weeks. This will be delicious in your afternoon tea as well!

Santa’s Not-so-naughty Ginger Elf (mocktail) Trader Joe’s Ginger Brew 1 jigger Trader Joe’s 100% cranberry juice (or cranberry cocktail) 2 teaspoons simple syrup Ice

Fill an 8 oz glass with ice. Add Ginger Brew until the glass is two thirds full. Add 1 jigger of cranberry juice and 2 teaspoons simple syrup. Stir and enjoy! If cranberry cocktail is used, omit the simple syrup.
