MACFLOYD: At East Kilbride’s ‘Village Theatre’, Maxwell Drive. 8pm £15/ £13 - call 01355 261000. MacFloyd (Scottish Pink Floyd) return to the Village Theatre in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Floyd's classic "The Dark Side Of The Moon" album which will see them perform this masterpiece in it's entirety. The show will also include a varied mix of Floyd classics including material from "Wish you were here", "The Wall" and "The Division Bell" albums. In a show lasting over two hours you will witness a level of musicianship that is second to none ensuring MacFloyd's position as arguably the best Pink Floyd cover band in the UK. The festival was founded in 1982 and since then has grown into one of Scotland's most popular and unique arts events. Each year, 80 or so exhibitions are housed in ingenious exhibition spaces created from artists' studios, garages, courtyards and gardens. Come along, stroll around the village, see the artworks for sale and meet the artists. Cabaret music evenings throughout the festival.
