Two US tours in 2015 – including official showcases at SxSW in Austin, Texas – built on the foundations laid over successful US tours in 2013 and 2014. A new set of recordings is scheduled for release over an EP and an album in 2016. Killin Music Festival Killin 17-19 June Killin Music Festival is returning to the festival calendar in June 2016. Run by a modern, energetic team, the festival will bring multiple headline talents to the stage in Killin. In our maiden year we will welcome Skipinnish, Trail West, BBC Radio Scotland's Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2015 - Claire Hastings and her band, Donald Black, the Scott Wood Band plus many more incredible artists to our stage. Killin Traditional Music and Dance Festival was previously held back in the 90's which lasted until the early 2000's. It was a prime entry on the festival calendar and was much missed when it fell by the wayside. St Magnus Festival 17-21 June Orkney The St Magnus Festival is Orkney's annual celebration of the arts. Founded in 1977 by Orkney's distinguished resident composer Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, who recently died. The Festival has grown from small beginnings into one of Britain's most highly regarded and adventurous arts events. Glasgow Jazz Festival Glasgow 22 June - 3 July Glasgow Jazz Festival has announced a bumper line-up to celebrate its 30th festival. With some of the biggest names in Jazz, the very finest of Scotland’s homegrown talent, some of the most well-known festival faces and an array of one-off musical collaborations, the 30th festival promises to be the very best yet!
