Our Friends of NWS memberships provide flexibility and a customized experience, engaging virtual yet social events with an emphasis on music, and a philanthropic impact with each membership sold. Each membership includes exclusive programming throughout the season, where you will get to know your Friends and NWS Fellows. The first 50 individuals to purchase a membership will also receive a variety of NWS items that will help keep you safe and healthy.
The Friends of NWS season starts online with fun virtual events hosted by NWS Friends Leadership and special guests. Add-on these events to your membership to curate a personalized Friends experience. Tickets will go on sale approximately two weeks before each event date. Spring 2021 events will be announced in December 2020.

Friends of New World Symphony engages Miami’s cultural community, inviting young music lovers and philanthropists to make a significant difference to the lives and futures of talented musicians. Friends offers its members opportunities to channel their passion for music, while cultivating friendships and professional contacts. The program builds a strong foundation of leaders and ambassadors who champion NWS’s mission through education and community efforts while increasing its pipeline of donors and corporate partners. September 23, 2020 at 7:30 PM AWASH ETHIOPIAN MIAMI: VIRTUAL DINNER Hosts: Aaron Karger and Joey Brutus Cost: $35 Taste of Awash Dinner; $30 Vegetarian Dinner We’re excited to launch our virtual season with a delicious dinner which will transport your palate to the African continent. The evening will kick off with an NWS Fellow performance, followed by a decadent meal. Attendees must purchase their ticket before 5:00 PM ET on September 22 and pickup their dinner from Awash between 5:30-6:30 PM on September 23. October 7, 2020 at 7:30 PM UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL – VIRTUAL STYLE! Hosts: Carolina Piña and Aramis Perez Cost: $10 individual, $15 per couple Join us for a performance by Fellows paired with an intimate chat online with Howard Herring, President and CEO of the New World Symphony, who will be speaking about the importance of NWS as well as how the Symphony has adapted to the current world order, before answering your questions.
