The piece is both technically and musically challenging, with several shifts in mood, tone and colouring. It has a wonderfully rich harmonic language and takes the listener on an engaging melodic journey.
The piece starts in Rhapsodic style and moves into the central section with a “Latin” feel, returning at the end with a variation of the opening thematic material.
This is a very beautiful and engaging piece which I am sure will become a favourite amongst Vibes players around the globe.
