-Asturias is in the north of Spain. -Aturias's flag is blue and yellow and a shield. -The capital of Asturias is Oviedo and Gijón is the most populated city. -Aturias' flag is blue and yellow. -the vegetation is extensive and it´s very fertile.
Asturian gastronomy is very extensive, and it's a tradition in Asturias. Probably one of the most important tradition in Asturias. The most typical dish is fabada Asturiana. It´s also typical: cabrales cheese, casadiellas, frisuelos, pote asturiano... The most typical drink is sidra (cider)
Our school is very big because it has two buildings and it has a corridor to pas from one part to the other. Our compoulsory subjects are: Maths, Spanish, Science, English, P.E., Tecnology, Art, Filosophy, Chemestry and Biology. Timetables are always the same, we start at twenty past eight and we finish at ten past two. Not all the people come to school on foot, because some people, which so far away from the school, have to come by bus, by taxi or by car. People who have more than sixteen years old come by moped. In the evening there are classes for people that aren´t in the high school. Apart from that, people that are in the bilingual Section have to come on Thursdays from a quarter to four to twenty five to six.
AND MONUMENTS Asturias has got very good examples of preromanesque architecture. The most important ones are: Santa Maria del Naranco, Santa Cristina de Lena, San Miguel de Lillo and San Julián de los Prados.
You can go to Asturias by each means of transport, but the best ways are: by plane, by train or by car. There are a lot of famous people that live or were born in Asturias: Severo Ochoa , Fernando Alonso, Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos or Marqués de Santillana are some of them.
