PREFACES Twelfth NIght; or What You Will is a Shakespeare play about several romantic relationships including a young woman who disguises herself as a boy, a woman falling in love with a disguised woman and a man having affectionate feelings for another man. Shakespeare wrote this play back in the late sixteenth century. It as a light and cheerful comedy relief. Although there was humor, the play touch on sensitive subject. The play was banned because Shakespeare approached the stubject of homosexuality by using humor in the book. In 1996, “prohibition of alternative lifestyle instructio” a New Hampshire school system ruled to ban the book. The ruling forbid teachers to discuss about homosexuality in classrooms.

This is my edition of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night; or What You Wil. It wiill show both Viola and Sebastian’s point of view separately. Since both of the twins encounter situations that puts their sexuality in question. I decided Viola would be a pink color to represent feminist and Sebastian would be a blue color to represent muscluar. The ability to flilp back and forward between the two books to show where each of the character was will give this play more personality and dimensiontion.
