his event began in mid-April and it ends the last of the month. The layout of the stands is cool and ideal for a walk in the middle of the flowers, with all the novelties from great designers is ideal for refurbishing your inventory. Also, for those who like to try their luck there is a green avenue full of gachas. Bloom: Springtime is an event to be repeated and shared, it is "fresh and sparkling": a nice pink parenthesis between the words "I want it"!

Tips for your photography skills #2 Writer and photographer Mafalda2 Diesel
64
65
H
i everyone, and wellfound this second appointment with tips on how to improve your photographer's quality on Second Life. They are small tips that everyone can try and that everyone can experience or improve, what matters is creativity! The last time we talked about subjects, and even projectors and shadows, we saw the importance of using the lights and that's exactly what we are going to discuss on this occasion. The speech seems trivial but in reality it is crucial if you want to give importance to the overall quality of your snapshot. I am of the opinion that a good photographer is who can give an emotion and an impression on his own photo because it's here where we can see the talent. Nothing to take away who is good at photomaking, but I do not think it will fit into the category "photographers". In this photo you can see the way the projector light crosses the peacock feathers to hit the face of the girl. This creates a dramatic tone to the snapshot, it's just a black background, a completely dark windlight, and a wooden cube

O
f course you can adjust the saturation and contrast of the photo as well as add effects like light leaks and more, as in this second photo: the effect of the smoke was added later, however I used two projectors by adding two different color tones: one gray and one blue-green. On the same page you can see the cutout with the object edit tool window, so you can see where and what to do to "create" a projector. It is very simple and only serves your imagination to begin with the first steps for these new light effects other than that produced by windlight. (uhm... My viewer is in Italial, lol)
69
I
n this new image, however, the projectors were fundamental to the success of the image. Shadows and projections of them against the walls were fundamental to give motion to the whole scene. I used the same "trick" of the cube-projector and I placed them in different points and I changed their percentage of transparency (from 0 to 100%). Later I increased the glow effect on the fishes and the windlight did everything else! One advice: change the distance, color and intensity of your multi-projectors because the effect will be very different and sensational. Also, make sure you do not have "full bright" objects in the scene, this option completely deny the ability to show lights and shadows, so the result would be "ugly and strange"!

71
I
n this last photo, you can see how a simple projector can give you a lot of drama from an environment, in this case the ideal choice was these items left in an attic. But the question arises spontaneously: not in all regions we can create a cube. True. You need to create a cube and active "lights" beforehand, so you just need to wear it "in the center of the avatar" and you will be the projectors yourself. This is a silly but useful idea for making beautiful snapshots! The appointment is for the next "Tips!"

Interview with Juna Writer and photographer Mafalda2 Diesel
T
oday I want to introduce Juna, a designer who creates artistic tattoos. She is a very kind and creative person and se has given me an exclusive interview for VSN. But who is Juna? Find out by reading our chat! Q - Thank you for giving me this interview. Let's start with the questions! What was the idea or the inspiration to get you into the fashion world of Second Life? A - Thanks to you for this opportunity: I am very flattered! It was all born by accident: I was looking for a man's tattoo for a RPg and I could not find it, so I thought I would try it out on my own. The designer of the mesh body I own, however, required me (for obtain the "developer kit") to have at least 15 items on my marketplace, so I began to create some of them: never again did I think someone really bought them! 86

Q - Did you encounter any difficulties in setting up your project? Have you had people who helped you and / or continue to support you? It's not easy and often many leave their dreams and plans, but I'm sure this is not your case. A - I find myself a tenacious woman, even though I tend to get bored early, and more things look complicated, more intimidating! I did not find many problems in real life, even because it's just over 3 months old that I've been thrown into this project! The support and the main thrust come from the man who is next to me of course, but I have to say that the greatest satisfaction is to see my work take life! A big boost comes from bloggers who have agreed to cooperate with me: their advice is of great help to me. Q - What gives you inspiration to create new tattoos? Do you have a personal taste or do you like to document some particular styles? A - I'm a curious woman and this brings me to look at the work of the tattooers in RL and I must say "Uhm, I can do it and it can work in Second Life", this thought has inspired me... but in the end I put my personal taste! When designing a tattoo, very often I get started with an idea and then finish doing anything else!
89
Q - Do you have any future plans? Any new ambition to expand and to offer something new? A - For the moment I'm trying to refine my technique and make my work more and more "artistic". As projects for a future, I'm trying to create a group of Italian bloggers to collaborate with: I would also give bloggers the first experiences... I'm infighting in this industry too! I would like to create a sort of circuit of Italian fashion creativity in Second Life: we are the best in the world here and in Real Life! Q - Your customers choose you for the originality of your tattoos and I was very impressed with it. What makes you different, what is your trademark? A - This answer is simply: I want to make my design an art, but I think I still have a lot to do!
