“When you do it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you do it to me” – Jesus (Mt 25:40)

An inmate prays

Inmates meet for prayer and worship, Bulgaria

A grateful recipient, Albania

“It’s great to know that this useful pack for our personal hygiene comes from Christian believers. God has given you the love to care for our needs. My friends and I are very grateful for these products because the prison meets only a few of our personal needs. May God protect you and reward you!” – Lule, Albania “When I came to prison the only reason I started going to the meetings was to disrupt them and argue with the pastor. But after all these years of listening to the messages there has been a real change in me. Each meeting enriches me. The visits and the parcels from MWB brings us all a real sense of love and kindness.” – Alberto, Bulgaria “From the moment I arrived in prison I started attending the meetings. I have had problems with anger and each meeting brings peace to my soul. I always feel encouraged and that is why I try not to miss a meeting. I love singing the songs. The parcels and visits from MWB supporters are very valuable to me. The hygiene items are so needed and I don’t have money to buy them. Thanks so much for all your kindness!” – Manol, Bulgaria We hear wonderful reports of ex-inmates returning home changed men and endeavouring to live honest lives with the ongoing help of the local church. One man, after spending many years in prison for murder, was converted and his life was so transformed that he earned the right for an early release. He has been reunited with his family and is at present receiving support (while looking for a job) and has become a member of a local church.
