Monika - “This prayer item has top priority. The location by the beach that we have been using for children’s summer camps for the past ten years is undergoing major reconstruction and it will not be available to us this year. Finding a similar solution is a real challenge. Please pray that God leads the way for us to find the most appropriate solution at least for this year’s Summer Camps.” Let us pray for the Summer Camp preparation, that God will give us wisdom to prepare a good Summer Camp program - for the children .That they will come with open hearts to hear more from Jesus, and God will use them as His messengers to share the Gospel. Albania is one of the poorest countries in Eastern Europe. Almost one quarter of the population live below the poverty line and survive on less than $3.00 per day. Please pray for the people of Albania, that they may start to experience an improvement in their economic situation.

May God open doors in the government social services departments and hospitals, so we would be able to meet the homeless beneficiaries’ need for health care. Presently it is very difficult for them to receive treatment and many simply go without the care they need. We would like first to thank God for our volunteers’ dedication, and second, to ask for more volunteers ready to respond to the challenge to serve the homeless beyond the meals alone with deeper communication and friendship, witnessing the Lord’s love and care. Pray for MWB staff working with elderly and individuals with disabilities in Bulgaria - who are helping to restore their dignity through our varied ministries.
Please pray for the government, that God would give them wisdom and integrity for spiritual, political and the economic situations in the country.

Ukraine’s economy continues to suffer from the effects of the war and it is ordinary people who pay the price. The value of the national currency has plummeted and the price of gas, water and electricity has surged. Ukraine is now three times poorer than it was 3 years ago. Pray that the Ukrainian people will receive the assistance they need and will have the wisdom, courage and strength to cope with economic uncertainty.
Moldova
Romania • Please continue to pray for our governmental authorities, many of whom resist anti-corruption steps. May justice and righteousness and good government prevail for the good of all Romanians.
•
Please pray for the politicians of Moldova – the neverending fight and schemes tear apart the society and deepen the disappointment and depression among ordinary people. Please pray that God would raise up people that will seek justice and unity for the whole nation.

It is spring time! Please pray for God’s mercy over our agriculture project in Palanca community as well as over the growth of our beneficiaries towards a life dependent on God and independent of our assistance.

Please pray for teenagers that after attending MWB programs have become volunteers themselves – some have alcoholic parents opposed to their involvement with MWB – please pray for their parents to open their hearts and lives to Christ.

Please pray that “seeds” sown during a recent outreach by Austrian youth will bear fruit in the lives of folk in Tuzla; and that the same will apply in the village of Kiseljak with Roma children. Pray for the church and families to encounter God in a real and personal way. More than 20 years on from its devastating war, Bosnia Herzegovina is a nation still struggling to come to terms with its past. The effects of the war linger on with posttraumatic stress, corruption and hopelessness rife across the land. Pray that the nation may heal and that people may find hope for the future. Please pray for the overall spiritual, political and economic situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina in the coming year. Religious and political tensions, especially in Sarajevo, are constant. Please pray for God to guide this government to implement initiatives that will address the country’s most pressing needs.

The war continues despite ceasefires, and the damage to lives and livelihoods is immeasurable. Pray regularly with us for the restoration of lasting peace and God’s intervention.
Please pray for our work among the Roma communities. Please pray for the protection of our Coordinators, that God would give them insights, great wisdom and boldness despite the difficulties. Please pray for the Roma community of Lacatus where family violence and alcohol abuse is very common. Pray for the women and children directly affected.

MISSION WITHOUT BORDERS
Eastern European Country Prayer Points
Bridge of Prayer May-June 2018 Dear MWB Prayer Partner, Your prayer support for the poor people we serve in Eastern Europe is very much appreciated As Summer approaches in our field countries, we pray for a season of rich blessings and renewed encouragement that the Lord our Saviour Jesus Christ answers these daily prayers for those in need. Thank you, Mission Without Borders, Australia “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7
Seeds of Hope 1. Praise and thank the Lord for the generous donations to provide seeds that continue to bless the needy in Eastern Europe. We pray these seeds flourish so they can nourish families in need. 2. Pray for the harvesting of crops over the next few months. Pray the harvests are healthy and provide an abundance of nourishment for families who have spent many long hours preparing the soil and looking after their seeds. 3. Please pray for favourable weather and that excessive rain and storms at this time of year do not cause flooding and damage the crops. 4. It has been a very long winter that threatens food and income opportunities for our supported families as well as for the whole country. Pray for our sponsored families to make full use of the opportunities offered to them in the spring so they will be able to enjoy the autumn harvest.
Summer Camp 5. As preparations for this year’s Summer Camps continue, please pray for all the MWB staff who are involved in organising camps for more than 3,500 vulnerable children. Please pray that each child attending camp will experience God’s love in a very real and personal way. 6. Please pray for the coordinators and volunteers who work so hard organizing the activities, meals and venues to host the upcoming Summer Camp groups. Pray that God empowers them to deliver His message so the children can be filled with His love and blessings. 7. Please pray for the donations for Summer Camp to be plentiful so that more children in poverty stricken Eastern Europe have the opportunity to attend, especially the children who do not get the opportunity to go to school or church to learn about God. 8. Summer Camp – Bible Correspondence Courses. Please pray that children who attend Summer Camps
will take up the offer of corresponding with us through our Bible Correspondence Course once they return home to their families or Children’s Homes. 9. Please join us in prayer for the protection and health for the volunteers who will be assisting with the Summer Camp programs. We thank them for blessing Mission Without Borders and the children we serve.
Celebration of Life and Mothers 10. Let us pray for all the single mothers and others who are bringing up children alone. Pray that they come to know the presence of our Lord as well as His helping hand every day. 11. Mother’s Day. We would like to wish all mothers and grandmothers a wonderful Mother’s Day! Please pray for the children we work with. Many do not have mothers or healthy relationships with them, making this celebration a painful one. 12. Pray for all the expectant mothers in the countries we serve. Many cannot afford the proper medical care or support they need to safely deliver a baby
Evangelistic Outreach 13. Praise God for the Christian Input teams across Eastern Europe. Thank you Lord for their unshakable faith in You. They are doing wonderful things in Your Name especially in the prisons and homes for disabled children. 14. Let us pray for the children’s ministry teams who share Bible stories to children through engaging puppet shows. Pray that the puppet shows will bring great joy to the children living in Children’s Homes where they lack parental care and nurturing. 15. Pray that the Christian witnesses of local churches continue and give many people hope in the communities we serve.
Soup Kitchen / Community Centres 16. Our ministry to feed the needy continues to provide a nutritious meal to many each day. Pray for changed
hearts and an increasing supply of resources, so we can expand this ministry further to other locations. 17. Please pray for the Mission staff and volunteers running Soup Kitchens in Bulgaria. Apart from providing regular meals, they are also involved in running Bible studies, arranging outings, tuition classes, medical visits and providing clothing to those in need. 18. Street Mercy’s purpose is “To serve, listen and share.” It seeks to reach those living on the streets. Remember those who lead this ministry as they seek to reach the most vulnerable people. Pray for their protection. 19. Our Community Centres offer a vital means of survival for the most vulnerable. We partner with many local churches to provide food and support. Pray for these partnerships, leaders and volunteers.
Sponsorship Programs – CRI and F2F
20. Please uphold in prayer the children who graduate from Children’s Homes and have no support. Pray for us to be able to extend our work in such a way that they would be touched and can receive the support they need. 21. Pray for all the children in our Community Centre programs. Some still need sponsors. Many live in difficult home settings, with little hope for their futures. 22. Please continue to pray for all children in Children’s Homes as changes to the institutions take place and vulnerable children are powerless. Pray for those making decisions and for those considering the children’s needs and futures. 23. As our field work becomes even more focused on communities, we continue to have families who need sponsors (4 per family). Please pray for more sponsors to join us now in reaching families and children – their needs are urgent and many are on a waiting list. 24. Let us pray for brothers and sisters who are struggling to protect and nurture their own families. Let God’s love reach them through the generosity of MWB field staff, volunteers and supporters who have the heart to serve those in need. 25. Pray for the young people enrolled in our sponsorship programs; that they will benefit from our range
of educational activities, vocational training and scholarships. For the many young people who drop out of school. Pray for their safety and that they don’t fall prey to crime, gangs, prostitution or human trafficking.
MWB International 26. We pray for the remainder of the year ahead. That the Lord continues to lead us in His ways, and through Him we will continue to show more and more people the love of God. 27. Let us pray for all the donors who make it possible for our ministries to continue. We pray the Lord blesses them throughout this year so they can continue to support our Mission and the people in need in all the field countries we serve. 28. Please pray for our Mission in seeking wisdom, for our plans for 2018 to continue to be successful. Please pray for God’s direction as to what He wants for the Mission and how we should continue to evolve and promote what we do. 29. Our work is based on God’s provision through his faithful people. Please pray for the 11 fundraising and supporting countries like ours, and for our work in Australia. That God will call new supporters to join us. 30. Pray for our field workers in Albania, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine that God will strengthen them spiritually, emotionally and physically. Our staff members remain vitally involved in meeting spiritual, emotional, educational and material needs daily.
MWB Australia 31. Please continue to pray for more opportunities for us to attend speaking engagements to spread the word about the work we do. We ask for new opportunities and openings at Schools and Universities to engage our country’s youth and grow awareness of our organisation. Pray they open their hearts to new ways they can make a difference
