Smart Exemplary Educator Become a Smart Exemplary Educator and reap the benefit of peer mentoring, collaboration, and expert advise. Become a leader in your field, show your talents, and make new friends. For the second time in the last seven years I was chosen to attend a Smart Exemplary Educator event. Once in San Francisco for three days and this summer in Calgary for five. Each event was filled with days of intense learning, sharing, mentoring, and fun. You too can become a SEE. Applications are taken in January of each year. Sign up for updates and look for an email about the process.

http://teacherlingo.com/ Teacherlingo is another educational community where teachers can meet electronically. You can read the conversations that other educators are having and this site can help you share your voice with others. The side benefit is access to lessons, as well. Check it out and read about what is happening across the world.
http://www.edcrowd.com EdCrowd is a new site that I think you will find interesting. Of course it is free and fun. You can pose a question and get answers from other educators from around the country. The best part is that you can answer questions and share your expertise. Check it out and let me know what you think of EdCrowd.com
http://www.betterlesson.org Betterlesson is great resource. Teachers can share their own great lessons and download terrific lessons posted by other educators from all over the United States. The lessons may include worksheets, power points, videos, or other activities. You know I am a member so check me out.
