Each comes equipped with a legendary Rotax® 4-TEC® engine designed specifically for marine use. You get quicker acceleration as well as a higher top speed. And thanks to iTC™– which provides more precise engine calibration – Sea-Doo watercraft are more fuel efficient, meaning you’ll be able to stay on the water longer.

Intelligent Brake and Reverse. The world’s only on-water braking system, iBR lets you stop up to 30.48 m (100 feet) sooner than any other watercraft.1 All with the squeeze of a lever. And with its electronic reverse, it gives you a level of manoeuvrability that even makes docking an easy one. Intelligent Throttle Control. Operating electronically, this advanced throttle system starts you in neutral for easier dockside starts. It also features an activity-specific cruise control, a Touring/Sport mode, ECO mode, Ski Mode™ and a Variable Trim System (VTS™) that can all be set to accommodate your riding style.¥ The result is a more responsive, more intuitive ride.

In fact, even while churning out so much performance, our engines meet extremely strict requirements to be CARB 3-Star certified for ultra-low engine emissions. Sea-Doo watercraft also feature the industry’s only Closed-Loop Cooling System (CLCS), which uses coolant to keep the engine running at ideal temperatures. It also keeps out corrosive saltwater and debris, meaning you’ll enjoy less maintenance and longer days on the water.

Intelligent Suspension. It’s the world’s first independent suspension on a watercraft, offering a full six inches (15,24 cm) of separation between hull and rider. iS isolates you from the impact of rough water, meaning you’ll be able to ride longer and more comfortably. Stepped, Stable and Strong Hull. The only one of its kind, the S3 Hull features a stepped design that reduces drag and keeps you glued to the water. Its lightweight design improves handling and offers better fuel efficiency.

Your time on the water is precious. That’s why we’ve designed our watercraft with superior ergonomics and plenty of convenient features – so every minute you spend out there can be as comfortable as the last.

For starters, your hands will never have to leave the handlebars for many common operations, such as engaging cruise control. Even braking and docking are made simple with iBR.§

Sit down and you’ll notice your body falls naturally into riding position, no matter your shape or size. The seats are plush and suitable for longer rides. And passenger seating is slightly raised for better visibility. Spotters will appreciate rear handles that can be comfortably accessed whether facing forward or backward, as well as conveniently placed, no-slip foot wells that add an extra sense of security.

Families with kids and less experienced riders can take advantage of the iControl-programmable Learning Key™, which limits the watercraft’s top speed. Meanwhile, O.T.A.S.™ (Off-Throttle Assisted Steering System) or O.P.A.S.™ (Off-Power Assisted Steering System) assist manoeuvrability in off-throttle situations and are standard on all models. Once you take home your Sea-Doo watercraft, you’ll find a simple and innovative way to protect it with D.E.S.S.™ (Digitally Encoded Security System). A unique microchip embedded in your watercraft prevents unauthorised use. And D-SEA-BEL™, our patented sound-reduction system, will make it one of the quietest vehicles on the water.

When you grip the handlebars, you’ll notice that they’re wider, higher and more forward. This promotes a more natural, ergonomic posture. Some models in our line-up also feature tilt steering, with gauges that follow. These handlebars can be fully adjusted to your preference for an even more comfortable ride.

However you should still remember to always wear the appropriate protective equipment and riding gear whenever you’re out there enjoying the water – because a safer experience is a more enjoyable one. For starters, all riders are required to wear an approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD) certified for use with a personal watercraft. Additionally, all riders should always wear wet suits and/or neoprene bottoms to prevent injuries that may be caused by the personal watercraft’s jet thrust – remember that normal swimwear does not provide the same level of protection.
