CANCER FUNDRAISING UPDATE!! We recently returned from State Convention in Yakima...and our Auxiliary did a fantastic job, taking many honors. We placed 2nd in the state for Cancer. We actually raised the most money, but it is based on per capita..so we took 2nd. I will be presenting a check for $5,000.00 to Partners Oncology, across from Good Sam, very soon. This money will help to defray the costs for some of our neighbors, friends and family in our own community. I want to thank all our members (and their guests) for your generosity, for without you, this would not have happened! So, let's set the bar up a notch, I'd like to beat this record by another $1,000.00 for this next year! I believe we can do it, working together. We have an awesome club that does so many good things for people everywhere. Our club is a business, with the bar, dining room and banquet facilities. But in order to keep that non-profit status, don't forget to help support all our charities. It is hard work to raise money, let alone in this financial slump, but every little bit helps. I never in a million years thought we would raise this much for Cancer, so again..my heartfelt thanks to you all!!
Daffodil Roamer’s Spend Two Weeks on Peninsula The week of July 1st through July 4th was spent at Janet and Ray Newby's beautiful home situated near the river between Sumner and Puyallup. We had over 14 rigs and many more of our group who would just come for the day. We Bar-B-Q steaks and had a great potluck Sunday night while visiting and watching the area fireworks going off all around us. The dog's weren't very happy about the noise but the rest of us found it enjoyable. On July 14th we leave for a two week trip around the Washington Peninsula. Our first stop will be the Port Townsend Elks, then onto Shadow Mountain RV Park in Port Angeles, with our final destination at Sunrise Resort in Copalis, Washington. God willing and the creeks don't rise we will have perfect weather of blue skies and warm sunshine. We are all looking forward to this trip to revisit our beautiful Washington State coastline and Olympic National Forest area. If these are the kind of trips you would like to participate in please join us at our monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Come check us out. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Ed. Note: We learned that Puyallup Auxiliary placed third in the nation at the GA convention. Congrats Shireen and all that helped.
