Santaquin City is proud to present the 2020 Miss Santaquin Royalty: Queen – Addison Huff; First Attendant – Emme McDowell; Second Attendant – Jade Haymore. Addison Huff was crowned Miss Santaquin in August of 2020.

Holding the title of Miss Santaquin requires Addie to fulfill many responsibilities by promoting her platform and serving our community. Addie’s platform is “Stand Up and Celebrate Diversity in Our Community”. Addie has already exceeded the 50 hours of required time in promoting her platform. She has interviewed representatives of diverse groups of people and has shared these interviews on social media to bring awareness. Addie’s culminating event for her platform will be an evening with an organized panel of these same representatives to answer questions from the public. She hopes for an enlightening conversation to bring greater awareness and celebration of diversity in our community. Addie has also been required to execute at least 2 hours of selfplanned service in the community each month for nine consecutive months. She has demonstrated much creativity to fulfill these activities during the Covid 19 pandemic. A few of her service activities have included: a drive to collect cleaning supplies for the local schools; a clothing share for families; thank you cards for care center residents; an online talent show; and reading to preschool children. When Addie isn’t busy with Miss Santaquin responsibilities, her other interests include photography, painting, shopping, vacationing, exploring, and playing the piano. She is the creator of “I Love Me Process” on Instagram and enjoys fashion and working as a stylist at Maurices. Addie just graduated from Payson High School where she was involved in track and field. She will be attending the University of Utah this fall to study Social Work and do humanitarian service. Addie’s proud parents are Stephanie DeGraffenreid and Landon Huff.

First Attendant, Emme McDowell, is the daughter of Eric and Suzanne McDowell. She just finished her senior year at Payson High School where she participated in volleyball and was a Mat Maid for wrestling. Emme is a lifelong resident of Santaquin. She has served on the Santaquin Youth Council where she held the position of Mayor. Emme loves singing and enjoys spending time with her friends. She plans to attend Snow College this coming fall to begin a major in Business.

Second Attendant, Jade Haymore, has lived in Santaquin for 6 years and is the daughter of Andrea and Mike Price and Shaun and Christa Haymore. Jade just finished her senior year at Payson High School where she participated on the Newpaper Staff and as a thrower for the Track and Field Team. Her hobbies include riding her dirt bike, playing with her dog, playing the piano, and mastering cooking and baking skills. Jade plans to attend Utah Valley University this fall on an academic scholarship to study nursing.
