Concerts in the Park

Cody Robbins was born and raised here in Utah County. He got into music at age 15 when he learned to play guitar and sing. He always had interest in music, and fell in love with the 90’s country and classic rock records his dad would listen to. From an early age he took an interest in the lyrical composition of songs and started writing songs himself. Later he partnered up with professional songwriters who helped him hone his craft.

Cody lives here in Santaquin with his beautiful wife and their four children and two dogs. They love everything the south valley has to offer, and always looks forward to the Orchard Days festivities. Cody performs across the state of Utah at various venues, and on occasion even leaves the state with a band.

We are excited to have him along with his band members, Jason Jones, Kyle McCann, and Hayden Cluff to play at the Orchard Days rodeo on Friday night.

Derrick Sprague A Utah born native, his music roots run deep. His grandfather, Bob McCaul, was known for his musical talent and performing. Leaving a legacy for Derrick, one of his grandfather’s songs hit the music charts next to Elvis Presley in the 50s.

As a young man, Derrick was known for captivating audiences with his Michael Jackson dance impersonations. He performed at a Utah Jazz half time show, along with many other venues. His love for music, dancing and song writing have been a common thread throughout his life. He picked up his first guitar when he was 14 and wrote his first song at the age of 16. Music became his passion as he followed in his grandfather’s footsteps. He was also inspired by artists like: Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins and Matchbox Twenty.

In his adult years, Derrick began to focus more on his own music. His true passion has always been in writing and composing songs. This self-taught musician began finding his own style, along with recording his own music. His musical style is a mixture of old and new.
