uring his life, David Marsh demonstrated that kindness can change a community. As the clerk at Lee Mart on 5905 South 700 West, Marsh was well known and loved by residents who stopped by the store to visit with him. Ironically, the man known for his good heart was shot in the chest during a robbery in the morning hours on March 18, and died days later on March 22. Neighbors in the area, along with store owners Sanh Ly and Huong Tran, gathered at Lee Mart after hearing of Marsh’s death to remember his thoughtfulness and honor his spirit. Aney Carroll
