By Charlotte Beard The St. Louis County Parks Foundation is looking to begin a $500,000 project in Kinloch Park but not without the feedback of its area residents. According to Mark Ohlendorf, President of St. Louis County Parks Foundation, he has sent letters to schools, pastors and ministers in the Kinloch area asking for input and how to reach people in their ministries. Now the foundation is turning to the media to assist in getting the word out that input is wanted from Kinloch’s residents for Kinloch Park’s restoration. Ohlendorf states that the idea to restore the park originated out of action plans to work with area parks departments. “The Saint Louis County Parks Foundation decided to put together an action plan (of) three major See ‘FACELIFT’ page 2
