Byerly RV: A Brief History
Embrace the season and enjoy winter fun in O’Fallon Break out of the winter doldrums with a weekend of whacky winter fun and games at O’Fallon’s Cabin Fever Daze in O’Fallon Sports Park, 3589 Highway K. The family-friendly festival will be held from 10am-6pm on Saturday, Jan. 25, and from noon-6pm on Sunday, Jan. 26, with free admission, parking, many free activities and tasty festival fare for purchase. “Whether you watch the games and activities or join in, you’ll have a great time kicking those winter blues,” said Marsha Seymour, head of O’Fallon’s Tourism and Festivals Office. “We are hoping to get a really good turnout for the Human Dogsled Race. Registration is only $25 for a team of six people, and in addition to prizes for the winners, we’re offering a prize for the best-costumed team. We also have traditional winter activities like skating, which costs $5 for a 45-minute session. You can bring your own skates or rent a pair for just $1.” Free activities and entertainment scheduled for O’Fallon’s Cabin Fever Daze include: • Kids’ Area – Open Saturday and Sunday, free, with winter-themed crafts and activities, including snowflake making with the Snowflake Lady, Mar-
ion Nichols. • The Hockey Circus Show – New for 2014. Billed as “the ultimate hockey tribute show,” The Hockey Circus Show fuses comedy, circus arts, athletics and interactive street theater. Crowds love it. Staring PAZ, an award-winning acrobat in the Cirque du Soleil talent pool who’s performed all over the world, PAZ will perform three high-energy shows each day, followed by meet and greet autograph sessions.
