The Lindenwood Stables complex covers over five acres not counting the greenbelt riding paths. The barn, out shelters, pens, runs, and pastures are well maintained and provide safe and healthy boarding. The riding areas are well cared for with constant attention to horse and rider safety, as well as appearance. The facilities are truly an integral part of Lindenwood (not an outside business) so caring attention and commitment is the hallmark. Horse boarding amenities include: All horses are sheltered, either in the main barn: box stalls with runs (runs shared with 2 horses), or in pens with 3 sided shelters. All horses are paired with one or two other horses – no solitary accommodations. Feeding twice a day by a live-on-the-property caretaker. Grain and supplements will be fed if you supply. Automatic waterers in the main barn. Tanks with tank heaters in shelter pens. Lindenwood pastures and greenbelt riding Box stalls cleaned daily; bedding included. Paddocks, shelters, and runs also cleaned daily, weather permitting. Main barn has grooming stall, wash stall with hot water, crossties. Spacious locking tack rooms, private or shared with one other boarder. Bathroom in the main barn, with hot water. Horses are turned out as a herd on a dirt lot, weather permitting. We feed morning hay spread widely on the dirt lot, which has developed a “foraging” behavior, less troublemaking by bored horses, and considerable contentedness in the horses. Summertime allows grass pasture turnout while the dry land pasture holds up – approximagely June through September. Trailer parking available. Nice riding arena, enough jumps for a small sized course, hunt field with jumps, greenbelt riding within the neighborhood (not extensive, but fun), irrigation ditch road access for miles of ditch road riding. Some boarders take their horses for a wade or swim in the lake! Caretaker manages annual vaccinations and worming, and assists these vet calls, owners billed. Other veterinary care and shoeing are owner’s responsibility. Adequate veterinary and hoof care are required. Monthly board payments are due on the first of each month, in advance. Pleasant, laid back environment! Resident horses become family to the barn community!
