ABOUT SHAWN I am the youngest of 3 brothers and grew up in Arvada Colorado. As a Colorado native I love the incredible mountains that provide beauty to the landscape. They have provided the perfect back drop for many memories while hiking, camping and exploring. I am proud to say that I attended Colorado State University (GO RAMS!) After moving to Fort Collins for school I fell in love with the area and decided to stay. I have a passion for kids and coaching and always seem to find myself on a sideline somewhere. I have been blessed to coach in some form for the last 20 years of my life. Whether high school football and track or youth soccer, volleyball, wrestling or basketball... I absolutely love it. ABOUT KARI I am a proud Colorado native and was born and raised in Broomfield. As the youngest of seven my house was always full of laughs and lots of love. My parents instilled in me a strong work ethic and the idea that you never sacrifice your morals to get something done. The right thing is the right thing no matter what. I carry that into my life to this very day. I’ve always been active and love spending time running in our Colorado mountains. I’m still amazed by the wildlife and beauty just outside my door.

ABOUT US We started this adventure back in high school where we met in Biology class. Now, over 20 years later, we have 3 boys, 1 girl and a million memories. Over the years we have been through many ups and downs but faith and family remain the basis of our lives. Our four children never cease to amaze us on a daily basis. We feel blessed to have raised them in a great community. When our kids were young we began a weekly tradition of family night. We make homemade pizzas and eat dinner on the family room floor while watching a movie. Of course we always finish the night with a personalized dessert too. Once a month we drive to Denver to share a meal and spend time with Kari’s siblings and their families. It is always a good time and full of fun. The Fall brings our favorite day of the year. We take our kids to Estes Park to watch the elk. We spend the day walking main street, eating treats and walking the golf course watching the elk. If you can’t tell... our kids mean the world to us :) After separate careers we jumped into real estate together. Using our lessons from previous careers, Kari as an esthetician and Shawn as a teacher, we have created a unique system to help people with their real estate needs. Every transaction revolves around a simple saying... Selling Homes, Building Relationships. We truly feel that building relationships with everyone we encounter is the basis of everything we do. We know that buying and selling a home is a huge decision and our goal is to make that process smooth and stress free. We really mean it when we say we are the best two for one deal you’ll ever get!

As a pre-approved buyer, you have better leverage when it comes to negotiating with the seller. The pre-approval process is simple and will help show sellers that you are a serious buyer. 2. Beat your competition to the best listings. Staying on top of market trends is vital when you’re looking for a home. Like any other home buyer, you want the best home at the best price possible. Of course, these are the homes that never stick around for too long so you’ll need to make every effort to keep yourself aware of the latest and best listings. Seeking the assistance of a professional Buyer Specialist will help you stay wellinformed and updated on a regular basis. 3. Research market trends in your area of interest. Familiarizing yourself with the area that you are interested in will help you get a better idea of what homes are selling for as well as how long they are typically on the market.
