TUESDAY, 31ST OCTOBER | We will meet at the airport at 2.00pm for our Air Malta flight to Ljubljana departing at 4.00pm. On arrival at 6.00pm, we will be transferred to our 3-star B&B Hotel in Maribor and check in.

WEDNESDAY, 1ST NOVEMBER | Breakfast and off to an optional excursion to discover the unique lovely wine region of Jeruzalem, nicknamed the Tuscany of Slovenia and Ormaz. We will pay a visit to a winery for some wine tasting and later proceed to a Deer farm for a culinary experience. On the return we will have a guided walking tour of Maribor, which is the second largest city of Slovenia.

THURSDAY, 2ND NOVEMBER | Another interesting and optional full-day excursion awaits us today. We discover the attractions and destinations of northern Croatia and begin begin with a visit to Trakoscan Castle, a neo-Gothic fortress from the late 13th century. We then head to the city of Varaždin, for a guided walking tour of its Old Town’s Baroque architecture and Varaždin Castle. We return late afternoon to the hotel.

FRIDAY, 3RD NOVEMBER | Another full-day excursion awaits us. This morning, we will make our way to Austria to visit the city Graz. Which is one of the best-preserved historical cities in Europe. Full of impressive institutions and exciting cultural attractions. We will have a historic city walking tour. We will see the “Painted House”, adorned with Baroque frescos in 1742, the “Luegghaus” façade on the bottom corner of Sporgasse which is now home to the Swarovski store, Graz Town Square which is marked by a statue of Archduke Johann of Austria who helped develop Graz with various initiatives and grand visions over 50 years and view the Renaissance Architecture. For those interested in shopping, the Seiersberg Shopping Centre will be a must!

SATURDAY, 4TH NOVEMBER | This morning we will make our way to Ptuj (optional excursion), located just a short drive away from Maribor. We will explore its beauty in a walking tour through the town and visit Ptuj Castle, the Provost Church and the old City Hall. Later, we will proceed to Krvavec where we will have the opportunity of taking a chair lift up the mountain. After which we will proceed to Ljubljana airport for our Air Malta flight departing at 7.50p.m. and arriving in Malta at 9.50p.m.
