WEDNESDAY, 1ST NOVEMBER | We meet our tour leader at the airport at 6.30am for our Air Malta flight to Munich departing at 8.50am. On arrival at 11.10am, we make our way to Munich, capital city of Bavaria where we can stroll around Marienplatz with its majestic Town Hall dominating the square. Some free time for personal sightseeing, lunch (extra) and shopping. We later proceed to central our 4 star Hotel Grauer in Innsbruck, the capital city of the Austrian Tyrol. After check in, we can join the tour leader on a familiarisation walk to discover the medieval centre of Innsbruck together with other highlights of the area.

THURSDAY, 2ND NOVEMBER | Our full day optional excursion takes us to Lake Achensee, located in the heart of the Austrian Tyrol and nestled in the stunning views of the Karwendal and Rofan mountains. Our coach will first stop at Pertisau on the shore of Lake Achensee, from where we will take a boat trip to Scholastica (extra). This excursion is not just a boat tour, it is a wonderful experience where you can feel the fresh breeze and makes you relax while admiring the fantastic scenery. Arriving on the far end of the lake in Scholastica we will board our coach and drive towards Worgl. We stroll around the main street Bahnofstrasse, where one can do some shopping before proceeding to the worldfamous Swarovski Crystal World (extra). Here we can enjoy a dazzling tour of this fantastic, unique, magical place, bringing moments of wonder to all visitors from all around the world.

FRIDAY, 3RD NOVEMBER | Today’s optional full day excursion takes us to visit first Rattenberg, the smallest town in Austria. It is nested at the foot of the

Rat Mountain. Rattenberg has been known for its glass making with abundance of crystal glass shops continuing the tradition of craftsmanship. We then drive towards Gerloss Pass (extra) leading us to the Krimmler Waterfalls (extra). This fantastic attraction cascades plunges down 381m in three steps of fall joining the River Salzach which flows to the River Inn, River Danube and finally to the Black Sea. After this impressive experience we continue our trip heading towards the city of Hall for a coffee stop. Known for its salt production, Hall has the biggest intact old town in the western part of Austria.

SATURDAY, 4TH NOVEMBER | Our last full day optional excursion takes us first to Kufstein, second largest town in Tyrol after Innsbruck. We wander around this town by the lush banks of the River Inn, admire the colourful house facades and the impressive Romerhofgasse. Our coach will then drive us to the German region of Bavaria, stopping in Rosenheim. We walk towards Max-Josefs-Platz, where the beautiful old time charm can be admired. This square in the core of the town, is surrounded by arcades, cafes and various shops, together with nicely restored colourful facades frescoes and centuries old town houses. Our last stop will be in the small, sophisticated town of Kitzbuhel with its pedestrian cobbled streets, upmarket shops, cafes and colourful houses frescoes.

SUNDAY, 5TH NOVEMBER | Breakfast and free morning to enjoy Innsbruck before we check-out of our rooms. In the afternoon we make our way to Munich Airport for our Air Malta flight departing at 6.55p.m. and arriving in Malta at 9.10p.m.
