THE COWHOUSE GALLERY
The Cowhouse Gallery is run by a group of local artists and craftspeople and this independence allows them to offer a wide range of original arts and crafts at very affordable prices. Painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles, woodturning and leatherwork are all beautifully displayed in this bright light art space. A stroll away is Perranuthnoe Cove and breath taking coastal walks looking towards St Michael’s Mount in one direction and to Prussia Cove in the opposite direction. The Cowhouse group look forward to re-opening their doors on the first of August. Each day one of the members works in the gallery, so call in for a browse, a chat about their
work or any other enquiries 11am to 4pm.

EXCLUSIVE
LEE STEVENSON
The artist run Cowhouse Gallery has welcomed a new member to their group. Lee Stevenson creates beautiful linocuts inspired by much in the local landscape especially birdlife and the sea. Lee was born and grew up in West Cornwall. ‘I like the idea of being a part of a tradition of craftsmen with long established skills and techniques which is open to infinite interpretation. The printing process can lead to a great deal of innovation. What develops from the original idea can be quite a surprise. Accidents are often fortuitous. It is my inability to predict the final outcome that makes print-making so fascinating!’
