My interest in digital art began over twenty years ago when I taught myself to use Photoshop so that I could build a website for my American Quarter Horse training business. I used my own photos and edited videos I shot to create magazine adverts, articles and promotional videos.
I now work in a completely different field, but I never lost my love of creating. I discovered the Photoshop Artistry course two years ago and it opened my eyes to the possibilities available to me. Sebastian’s teaching is exceptional and his enthusiasm is infectious.
Following on from the original course, I began the Awake course just over a year ago and art has now taken over my life. I have also started the Conceptual Fine Art Photo Artistry course and I am a member of Kaizen. My head is constantly buzzing with ideas and I can honestly say I am obsessed with it. I am working really hard to get better and try different styles, although I usually tend to like doing dark, moody pieces.
The talent in The Awake community is phenomenal. Everyone is so generous with their advice and feedback, that it is lovely to be a part of it.
