A question that is often asked is, “What can I do on a ship”? The short answer is “Lots”! You can see a show, snooze lazily by the pool, swim, jog, shop, learn, dine indoors or out, casual or elegant. Explore a port or stay onboard. Meet new friends. Keep fit. Onboard facilities include babysitting, ballroom dancing, duty free shopping, movies, supervised children activities. Most ships are very modern and have internet too so you can stay connected!

Cruising is fabulous value for money. It’s a great way to celebrate a special event and is a safe travel experience. One of the best aspects of cruising is in knowing that even though you are going to visit different cities, once you have unpacked, you don’t need to pack until your last day. Remember, it’s up to you if you wish to get off a ship during a port docking. You might want to get off at every opportunity or instead choose to relax and enjoy the ships onboard facilities. Special Requirements: Special dietary or medical requirements. • Mobility: Please make us aware of guests who are not fully mobile or who use wheelchairs at any time. • Special Occasions: Birthdays, Honeymoon or Anniversary or Family Get Together.

Deposit: A deposit is required at the time of confirmation. If booking within 90 days of departure, full payment is required.

A major element of the winter journey is hunting the Aurora Borealis. In the winter, the sun is low on the horizon and, north of the Arctic Circle, can even be below the horizon for some weeks. This natural phenomenon creates beautiful shades of light. The Northern Lights are something else entirely! For thousands of years people in the northern part of the world have marvelled at the spectacular displays that occasionally light up the night sky. The variations of light associated with the special coastal landscape is the most distinctive feature of the region. In addition to the midnight sun and the dark winters, the period of dusk between light and dark creates a relaxing and calming mood compared with the energising force of the sun. In northern Norway, the dusk often lasts a couple of hours every day during the winter, a season which also sees the heavenly cascades of the Northern Lights. Nothing can equal the sight of moonlight playing across the ocean and the snow-clad mountains.
