2) 2 buses starting at the same time from 2 differant stations which are 200 km apart and going in opposite directions cross each other at a distance of 128 km from one of the stations. Ratio of the two buses speeds = -------? Ans:- 16 : 9 Explanation:In the same time, they cover 128 km and 72 km respectively. Ratio of their speeds = 128 : 72 = 16 : 9.
3) A bus moves at the speed of 120 km / hr. Find the speed of the bus in metres per second? Ans:- 33.33 m/sec Explanation:Speed = 120 × 5/8 m / sec = 100/3 m / sec = 33.33. • Bus travels with a speed of 33.33 m/sec.

7) A, B start their run together to reach a certain destination, A at 3 kmph and B at 3.75 kmph. B arrives half an hour before A. Find the distance travelled by A and B? Ans:- 7.5 km Explanation:• Let the required distance = N km. • So, N/3 - N/3.75 = 1/2 <=> 2.5 N - 2 N = 3.75 <=> N = 3.75/0.50 = 15/2 = 7.5. • Total distance travelled by A nad B = 7.5 km.

10) Ashokan has to reach 6 km distance in 45 minutes. If he covers 1/2 of the distance in 2/3rd of the total time; Find his speed to reach the remaining distance in the remaining time? Ans:- 12 Explanation: • According to the question, finished distance = 1/2 0f 6 = 3km, • Remaining time 1 - 2/3 = 1/3 min. • Remaining distance = 3 km • Remaining time = 1/3 × 45 min = 15 min = 1/4 hour. • So, needed speed = (3 × 4) km / hr = 12 km / hr.
