WHAT WE DO SMALL GROUP DEPARTURES Keeping groups small is important to your enjoyment. Tours rarely exceed 20 people per departure and when they do, we add an extra departure based on demand. Equally important is we never forget that groups are made up of individuals, and travelling with like-minded companions in small groups allows us to give you personal attention. Tours in this brochure specify group size with maximum and average number of participants.

ADVENTURE TRAVEL If you’re up for adventurous travel, then consider one of our Adventure Itineraries - look for this starburst symbol indicating a journey that will go beyond memorable. These trips include participatory camping and travelling in fully-equipped, overland trucks taking you into remote areas and along less frequently travelled byways to discover the ‘real Africa’.

ADD-ON MODULES Want a bit more than just one of our set itineraries? Not a problem. We have lots of add-on modules on offer. From city stopovers to Indian Ocean island retreats, it’s easy to create that perfect addition to your holiday of a lifetime.

TAILOR-MADE ITINERARIES We’re experts when it comes to customizing travel for the independent traveller who wants that one-of-a-kind private itinerary. Being able to travel where and when you wish and have your personal, special interests as well as your budget catered to, is priceless, and we have the knowledge and expertise to make this happen.

Table Mountain, Cape Town is one of the new 7 Wonders of the World.

The destination is the experience, made more enjoyable when our small groups are composed of like-minded folk.

The destinations

Break away from the hectic world of computers, smartphones and traffic gridlocks. For centuries, Africa fired the imagination of explorers and still does to this day. Africa, being much more than the sum of its parts, is the birthplace of cultures stretching back to the dawn of time…a continent full of charm, magic and unimaginable safari experiences. East Africa invented the “Safari”, and what better place to experience a thrilling safari than to come with us to the world-famous game reserves of Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda. Imagine witnessing the annual wildebeest migration? We can make that happen! For the adventurous we’ll help you challenge the peak of Kilimanjaro or track Gorillas in Rwanda’s stunning Virunga Mountains. If you yearn for the tantalizing beaches of the Indian Ocean, come explore with us exotic Zanzibar or Mauritius, or the Seychelles. Make a break from routine to discover our getaways. 6

Southern Africa is wonderfully diverse too. Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa offer extraordinary discoveries. Imagine yourself at the mighty Victoria Falls or go ‘mokoroing’ in game-filled Okavango Delta. How about climbing the world’s highest sand dunes at Sossusvlei or meeting the Bushmen of the Kalahari? In South Africa, we’ll have you luxuriating in private game reserves, wine-tasting in pristine Cape Winelands, or simply riding the rails on the fabulously elegant Blue Train or Rovos Rail. Here’s a great idea! Get aboard the activity-packed Shongololo and travel by rail as we show you the beauty of Southern Africa. How about an overland safari that takes you through many nations?

The possibilities are endless.

Experience Africa’s diversity. We make sure the ‘must-see’ sites are part of each itinerary.

Instead, come with us to a whole different world …a world beyond imagination! North Africa, an open-air museum of culture, art and architecture beckons you to follow in the footsteps of the Pharaohs, Phoenicians, Romans and Berbers. In Morocco, we’ll explore the Sahara where the Bedouin roam and enter a world of Kasbahs and mosaic-tiled mosques. If you’d like to play golf by the seaside or simply soak up a Mediterranean ambience of beach resorts, we offer you Tunisia, home to historic Carthage and the well-preserved ancient city of Dougga. On a Nile cruise, we’ll show you Egypt’s Pharaonic antiquities, from one of the world’s oldest civilizations. After selecting your preferred itinerary, leave the rest to us. We’ll make it memorable.

Want to meet people whose lives are still shaped by the legacy of their illustrious and historic heritage? Then come with us to the Middle East. Let us introduce you to Israel, original home to three of the world’s most revered religions. In Jordan say “Open Sesame” and discover the glorious past at the ‘Rose City’ of Petra and Jerash. Also not to be missed are the Gulf States: the glittering, modern petro-dollar city-states of Dubai and Abu Dhabi with their exceptional sports, shopping and recreational activities or the exotic Sultanate of Oman, a nation of desert fortresses, authentic souks, lush oases and date-palm plantations where Bedouin hospitality is unforgettable.

The Middle East - not only birthplace of three greatly revered religions, but filled with glorious, ancient civilizations.
