eStancias Cuyo
Visiting and staying in an estancia is one of the quintessential Argentine adventures, and pro-‐ vides an insight into the old gaucho culture. Those large rural estates that once raised cattle and sheep have now often shifted from live-‐ stock to crop farming. Some have been transformed to accommodate guests, to various de-‐ grees of luxury, particularly those with historic architecture. The purpose of this book is to provide the reader with a one stop shop list of all the estancias located around the Cuyo provinces in Argentina. However, the list is not exhaustive, and things change rapidly. Feel free to contact the author if a property no longer exists, or has been omitted from the list. The quality and level of service of each estancia will be left to the appreciation of the reader, and is not the responsibility of the author who merely passes on in-‐ formation and makes no representations. Bear in mind that some estancias are closed during the winter months. Most of the text and icons in this book contain an hyperlink, so click and surf... “Explore. Dream.
