Michelle Frost

I was born in Africa, but now live in another beautiful part of this world called Scotland. I've done anything and everything I could think of that allowed me to write - reviews on shampoos, monthly astrology horoscopes, a newspaper advice column, poetry, blogs and short stories. In 2001 I won second prize in the Klein Karoo (South Africa) Arts festival, for a short story later published in the book - “e-rupsie/e-ruption.” In 2002 a poem I wrote, "Homeland", went global, thanks to emails and the internet. Then this January my first book came out - "FIRST LIGHT", (Fantasy/ Science Fiction). The story of that is an entire blog of it's own and what an adventure it's turning out to be! I haven't made much money writing (if any!), but I have finally accomplished my lifelong dream; the one a high school teacher forced me to dig deep and uncover... I write things that touch people.
