A kid is abused or neglected every 47 seconds in America. These kids will be removed from their families often with little more than a trash bag of personal items to help transition them into foster care.
In emergency removals, kids are escorted out of their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs—even without shoes on.
OCJ FOSTER KIDS During these emergency “snatch and grab” situations, kids can be hungry, dirty, and terrified. OCJ Foster Kids fills in the gap with Welcome Kits. This project ensures every kid receives the basic hygiene essentials upon their placement.

IN SEEMINGLY HOPELESS SITUATIONS.

Kids in the foster care system lag greatly behind in their academic studies. Many struggle with basic reading skills.
Kids in Alaska often live in remote villages that have no access to the gospel.
ALASKA DANDELION KIDS Over 500 villages across northern Alaska cannot be reached by road. They must be reached by planes, sea planes, and even dogsled. In these villages, the Alaskans live in small homes heated by fuel oil, and they survive by hunting and fishing. The gospel message is very rare in these places. The kids are growing up unreached and lost. Alaska Dandelion Kids wants to reach kids in some of the most remote villages with monthly video programing delivered via DVDs due to lack of Internet across the state.
$100 provides one month of Christian videos for kids with little or no access to the gospel.
