Providence Grain Solutions is a growing organization and we are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright Lead to perform general facility maintenance and potentially work on larger millwright jobs. • Millwright skills and general knowledge of a grain facility such as motors, buckets, belts, gear boxes, legs, conveyors, etc. along with electrical knowledge. • Explains safe work practices to be employed in various work assignments and ensures safe working practices are followed by internal and external personnel on site. • Provides ongoing technical support to operations staff. • Ensures company equipment and materials receive proper care, custody, maintenance and usage. • Orders material, checks pre-ordered material, makes local purchases. • In conjunction with the Operations Manager, develops the maintenance budget and tracks the achievement of targeted results. • Provides recommendations to the Operations Manager regarding major repairs, capital programs and operational enhancements. • Hires local contractor services as required. • Performs other related duties as required.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience, which result in the required level of knowledge, competencies, skills and abilities, may be considered.
