My Mind's Eye Lost & Found - Portobello Road

Today, the temperature of 12 degrees Fahrenheit is a record low for a high temperature and we just had a snow storm dump 8" at my house. I am thankful for a warm home.
Winter Wonderland by
The cold, however, has not stopped my boys from enjoying the snow. It has also got me thinking: "Why is it that the cold doesn't bother the boys like it does me?" Is it because they are secure in the fact that a warm house is waiting for them? That hot chocolate and dry clothes are readily available? Or, is it that the snow is a magical wonderland full of snow monsters and ice caves waiting to be explored and little boys can't be bothered by trivial things like the cold? I wonder.
Amber Packer
Whatever the reason, I will be following along with my trusty camera trying to "capture" all the events of the season. When I am ready to scrap those moments, Lost & Found Portobello Road is perfect for documenting every magical winter memory. The soft blues, silvers and glitter give the peaceful feeling that comes when watching snowflakes fall on a cold winter's night.
