WAYS TO UPDATE YOUR HOME FOR

5 AUTUMN

Breathe warmth into your decor this Autumn with comforting warm berry tones, classic blue and wood tones paired with gold and copper. They are the perfect match to keep your home looking stylish.

1

Classic Blue Use a deeper shade of blue for the curtains and tableware to add depth and break up the scheme with a big blousy floral cushion or two. To bring the outside in, pop some fresh blooms and foliage in an oversized vase.

3

Pillow Talk For an easy seasonal update, shop for pillow covers, particularly in rich velvets and tweeds. Opt for an unexpected colour palette for a fun twist. We love rich gaudy fabrics in gold, oranges, purples and dark grey.

4

Go All Natural An easy way to freshen up your abode for fall? Add some houseplants! Incorporate fresh greenery and other natural elements for the new season. A lot of people associate succulents with summer, but paired with weathered wood and with leaves it creates a warm, homely space.

2

All That Glitters Shine bright with embellishments of gold, brass and copper. You can bring the gold through into your tableware, and dining room chair legs to tie the scheme together. Look out for unusual shapes to add interest.

5

Honest Comforts Layering up comforting cushions, throws, knits and faux furs to make any space feel instantly inviting. This approach will see you through Autumn/Winter and still light enough to see your home fashionably dressed for spring.

Testimonials Rachael and Monika did a fantastic job styling our home. The inspection and recommendations were extremely thorough. Nothing was too difficult for MyPad Property Styling. The photos of our styled home came up so well that we had amazing numbers through our home. MyPad Property Styling definitely contributed to the quick sale of our home in a difficult and declining market. Thanks Rachael & Monika!

I was preparing and styling 2 properties for simultaneous sale. What could have been really complicating to organise was super simple! Rachael and her team were helpful, cooperative, punctual, down to earth and friendly, and made the whole process of preparing for sale so much more pleasant. Not to mention the styling which made our place look straight out of a magazine! Thank you Rachael & team!

BEFORE AND AFTER

Late last year we took part in the amazing organisation Share The Dignity Australia “It’s In The Bag Christmas Appeal”. This is where thousands of sanitary products and other personal hygiene products and everyday luxuries were collected and given to homeless women, women at risk or women experiencing domestic violence. Here is Nicole, Kelly and Jess filling their handbags that are no longer in use with goodies ready to go out!

COMMUNITY PAGE We love getting involved in our local community. Did you know we sponsor a child through The Smith Family? Today, over 1.1 million Australian children and young people are growing up in poverty. In sponsoring a child, your support for their education will help them to develop their skills and confidence so they can create a better future for themselves. We also proudly donated to the Rural Fire Service, WIRES Australian Wildlife Rescue Organisation and St Vincent de Paul.

BEHIND THE SCENES The muscles behind what we do come from our MyPad Moving Team, consisting of Jesse Gonzelez and Ryan. They are highly skilled when it comes to the careful moving of furnishings.Their enthusiasm and desire to assist vendors prepare their home for sale is unparalleled.

AUTUMN

Stove top potpourri is a great way to make your home feel warm and inviting, and make it smell wonderful! Plus they help keep a bit of moisture in the air, which is great during the cooler months. If you want to make your house smell divine, here are our favourite Autumn simmer pot recipes you should try! All you have to do is put all of the ingredients in a pot on your stove, fill the pot with water, and turn the burner on low. The pot will gently simmer away, releasing the scent into your home. Just make sure you refill the water every once in a while so it doesn’t boil dry! We love the combinations of cinnamon sticks, apple peels, orange rinds, cloves, apple juice, vanilla, anise, and nutmeg. Potpourri makes an easy house warming present, too—just combine the ingredients in an airtight jar with water and refrigerate until you’re ready to gift.
