WAYS TO UPDATE YOUR HOME FOR

5SUMMER If you are looking for ways to freshen up your home for the warmer months ahead, here are 5 ways to get your interiors Summer ready!

3

Revamp your walls For a bigger transformation, a summer refresh to your walls can reinvigorate your space without painting or incorporating wallpaper. Wall lighting or unique accent pieces like a mirror are a great way to freshen up interiors, even in a rental space.

4

Garden Fresh

1

Refresh Your Space With Natural Fiber Rugs

Interject bright, summery colors in your home with freshly picked blooms . To make the biggest impact, stick to arrangements featuring warm colors such as bold oranges, radiant yellows, or vibrant pinks and save rich reds and deep purples for other seasons.

For that instant summer feel, swap your wool rug to a natural fiber rug like sisal or jute.

5

Summer Scents

2

Soft Furnishings

Switch out any heavier throws or decorative pillows and replace them with textiles that are made from lighter fabrics such as linen and incorporate more white and bright colours.

Scent sets the tone in any home, and in summer, light, bright fragrances are quintessential. We love a citrusscented candle which immediately makes us think of summer!

We had MyPad style our home as we were about to list it "For Sale". Rachael and her team came to consult with us on her recommendations and we decided that to use her wonderful choices. She arrived 2 weeks later to prepare for the Open Homes it looked exceptional! We were both very pleased the professionalism of MyPad and also the speedy sale it generated.

STYLING TO LIVE CREATING BEAUTIFUL SPACES Eliminate expensive decorating mistakes and be guided by our experienced Interior Designer. Our process is a collaborative journey that guides you through the stages from initial consultation to completion of the project. INTERIOR STYLING PROCESS Prior to meeting with our Interior Designer, we ask you to take time to consider your living spaces including the functionality and what is currently not working for you. Identify what furniture or decorative pieces must stay and what can go. We recommend collecting images to identify your decorating style or you can also visit the MyPad Interior Styling Pinterest page to view our collection of images.

Step 1 - The Consultation

Our Interior Designer will meet with you to discuss how you would like to see your interior transformed. They will collect information on your space and discuss options for achieving your vision and work to suit your budget. Based on the meeting, the Interior Designer will create a custom proposal that includes a summary of your requirements and the suggested number of hours needed to create your space. This can be broken down into stages and managed over time based on your time frame and budget.

Step 2 - The Presentation

We access our database of wholesalers and retailers to curate the furniture and decorative items to create your unique interior. We develop a personalised Look Book that clearly outlines selections for each room. We present our initial concept Look Book for review and allow one opportunity to provide a revision. Upon your approval, we provide you with the final Look Book.

Style

Once all items are received, our experienced Interior Designer will visit your home to style and ensure the overall design concept is achieved.

BEFORE AND AFTER

It's in the Bag Christmas Appeal

R U OK? Day, held annually on the second Thursday of September, encourages and reminds Australians to connect with people and create conversations to support anyone that may be struggling. Laura made these fab cookies for the day!

COMMUNITY PAGE Each November we take part in the amazing organisation called Share the Dignity "It's in the Bag Christmas Appeal'. This is where thousands of bags filled with sanitary and other personal hygiene products and everyday luxuries are collected and given to homeless women, women at risk or women experiencing domestic violence. Here is Nicole, Kelly and Laura filling their handbags that are no longer in use with goodies ready to go out!

GoFundMe: Shepherd's Journey with Cerebral Palsy One of our staff members son recently underwent a hemispherectomy to help control severe seizures due to drug-resistant epilepsy. The family have set up a GoFundMe page and if you would like to read more about their story please head to Shepherd’s Journey with CP.

MyPad 5th Birthday! This year MyPad Property Styling celebrated their 5th birthday! We are so proud to have reached this milestone and appreciate the support of all our amazing Agents and removalist crew from Speedy Removals.

DIY Christmas Wreath Looking for a gorgeous way to ring in the festive season? Why not try this budget friendly idea! All you need is a galvanised metal hoop (available from Spotlight), artificial foliage branches, baubles ( or any Christmas ornaments), green florist wire and scrap ribbons.

Method

1

Using secateurs, snip a collection of foliage for each wreath you plan to make.

3

Place a metal hoop on your work

2

surface. Position first branch against the wire hoop and bend it slightly to suit the curve of the hoop. Tie branch in position with green florist wire.

Place next branch over woody end of the first branch, then attach to your hoop.

Repeat Step 3 until all of the hoop

4

is covered. Trim the final branch with secateurs so it fits snug into the first branch, or let it drop away from the hoop (this will be the bottom of your wreath, if so).

Here is the MyPadProperty Team creating their own Christmas wreaths last year. Don’t they look fab!
