feel bare without my mobile phone. I can't remember when exactly I got my first mobile but it was when everyone else started getting them. I have had a good few mobiles over the years, possibly nine or ten. When I am buying a mobile I am always looking for something very practical. Email is a crucial feature. It's great as you are like a mobile office and if there is an emergency or a problem in work you know about it very quickly. I also live by the reminder alarms on my phone. I find them fantastic, especially if you don’t have a diary. Even from a personal point of view if I have to pick the kids up at a certain time, the reminders are great. They are also good for storing ideas. I travel abroad for work about nine or ten times a year so I am often roaming on my mobile. However I

y first mobile was given to me as a present when I was still in school. I remember having to hide it as we weren’t allowed them. I am terrible for losing phones and I would say I have had at least 10 since my first mobile. My next phone will definitely be a good one. I am thinking of getting a Blackberry as I want to be able to email from it. My current phone is a Nokia and I usually go for this brand. My phone is most important for calls and texts. I would not make a huge amount of calls during the day as I am painting. If I am in the studio I tend to text more as I can text and keep at my work. I also find the picture facility great, especially if I am away somewhere and I forget my camera. I have pictures of my dog on my phone and I store pictures of

am much more likely to send a text rather than call someone. I can't do predictive text as I think it’s easier to text the straightforward way. I have my phone with me all the time. I would be lost without it, and even if I didn’t have a handbag I would bring my mobile along with me.

LISA FITZPATRICK, STYLIST my paintings that I am selling also. My phone bills are always fairly reasonable, but of course every now and then I get a big bill. I find my mobile particularly handy for roaming abroad. My phone is definitely something I could not live without.

WHY PHONES ARE THE ULTIMATE ACCESSORY
I
f I could pack just three things into my handbag it would be my perfume, my lipgloss and my mobile phone. Once my friend accidentally deleted all the numbers in my phone, but I was not fazed, as long as I still had my phone. I got my first mobile 12 years ago. What I love the most about my phone is that is allows me to take great videos of the kids. I use roaming a good bit as I am away for work quite often. I text all the time, I could do it with my eyes shut. I send a ridiculous amount of texts a day, probably 20 or 30. When I am in the car I use the speakerphone to call my mum or sister. I also rely on my phone as an alarm clock in the morning. I take pictures all the time of my kids with my mobile and send them to my family when I am in the park or if we are out on our bikes.
I love memories so my phone is great for that. The phone is actually handier than having a camera as the pictures are good quality and it has a really clear screen.
