Partnership (Marr) would like to draw people’s att enti on to safety around water in the region.
Scotland enjoys some the most beauti ful rivers, lochs, canals and reservoirs that the UK has to off er – they att ract thousands of visitors each year, and Deeside is no excepti on.
With the conti nuati on of the Year of Coasts and Waters into 2021, it’s important to remember though that if you’re visiti ng one of these spots, be that regularly or as a one-off , water can pose risks.
The Scotti sh Fire and Rescue Service has put together some useful advice, aimed at runners, dog-walkers, fi shers and drinkers, on their comprehensive website. There is also advice on what to do if you fi nd yourself in the water.
