Online competition results 2021

Aboyne Highland Games marked what would have been its games day with a virtual celebration of the traditional event. With the support of EventScotland, organisers broadcast a series of films on the event’s social media channels to maintain the spirit of the 154-year-old event. The Games were cancelled earlier this year due to uncertainties surrounding COVID-19. Alongside films showcasing traditional heavy events and Highland Dancing, the results of the online piping and fiddle competitions were announced. Both the piping and fiddle competitions received a large number of entries, with musicians from overseas competing.
