Ian Paterson of K&I Paterson gave his ti me and machine to unload and positi on the Community Shed’s Blackhills granite stone, which was donated by Fyfe Glenrock, while Alan Bruce organised its delivery. Willie Kerr and the team at Deeside Road Constructi on resurfaced the track to the shed, and were thanked for their eff orts in keeping the costs of the job down. The Trustees added: “It is never easy to fi nd funds for jobs like this and your help is much appreciated. The track is now much safer, parti cularly for people who are maybe not so good on their feet. We have already had very positi ve remarks from regular walkers on the track!” The Community Shed already has some regular users, including yoga classes, a long-tem art project and the Forget-me-not Club. 11
