aya God Murphy, a Sanford native, was divinely inspired to start Expressly You School of the Arts, Inc. because of her love for young people and the arts. Her vision for the school is to provide a fun, secure and creative outlet for youths to blossom in the arts and to develop a personal relationship with God. It is also her desire to serve as a vessel to help the young as well as the young at heart to visualize and fulfill the artistic dreams that God has implanted inside of them.

Expressly You School of The Arts, Inc., (Sanford) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that strives to reach out to the at-risk youth in the community through the exciting world of the arts. The school services children from the ages of 3 to 18 years old. Their mission is to foster a loving and nurturing environment conducive to creative productivity and positive behavior modification. Maya is a former student of Tajiri School of Performing Arts and Academics and continues to bless the Sanford community with her love of the performing arts. Her summer camps are an asset to this community and provide an avenue for our children to have meaningful and unique experiences outside of their immediate surroundings. This helps to promote and motivate students to do and be more.
