In the early 20th century, Nashville became a nucleus for nightlife and entertainment in Tennessee. It was the launch of the WSM radio station and their program known as the “Grand Ole Opry” coupled with the exciting venues such as Ryman Auditorium that solidified Nashville’s moniker “Music City.”
