RED WING MARINE MUSEUM
The Red Wing Marine Museum is in one of the city’s historical venues along the river near boathouse village and depicts one of the oldest manufacturing industries, the boat and motor business. It sits near the site of the original factory where boats and motors were made and launched. The museum exhibits include more than 30 restored Red Wing marine engines, outboard motors, and a display of fishing tackle, photographs, documents and other river-related items.
POTTERY MUSEUM OF RED WING
Nearly 6000 unique pieces of stoneware, art pottery, and dinnerware await you at the Pottery Museum of Red Wing. Spanning 90 years of production, from 1877-1967, these artifacts tell the dynamic and colorful story of this Mississippi River town. Using nature’s elements of earth, fire, and water, the pottery artisans created a local legacy known throughout the world. Come and view nearly 100 years of history and tradition, beautifully displayed for your enjoyment.
ALIVEO MILITARY MUSEUM
The museum’s mission is the educate the public about military history through the protection and preservation of military artifacts. Inside you will find significant collection of military artifacts, such as pistols, rifles, edged weapons, uniforms, insignia, badges, flags, and more. The collection includes relics and artifacts from the Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the Cold War to the Middle East Wars.
RED WING ARTS CENTER
At the Red Wing Arts Center, explore galleries and stunning displays of local artwork. The Arts Center features rotating exhibits and often hosts a variety of community events with the goal of connecting the community through shared artistic experiences. The Red Wing Arts Center was established in 1952 and today features over 350 artists in a variety of galleries and festivals annually.
