Richardson said.

The international business major is known for his caring personality throughout the Winthrop campus.

“I found out a few weeks ago through an event with my fraternity that I am a servant leader, which basically means that I love helping people.

I put other people’s needs before my own because that is what I love to do.�

Richardson explained that he felt like the freshmen class really needed somebody to step up and take charge. “I love to be there for people and provide comfort for people who may need it. The freshmen class needed somebody to help bring them together and to bond,� Richardson said.

The plan originally was to get all of the ACAD classes involved in the

event but because of short notice and how many people would end up participating, the event had to be changed. “Leah Kendall, the Director of ACAD, loved the idea but felt like with the way I had it planned originally it was going to be to hard to plan in just a month. With every ACAD class participating, that would be a lot of students and would require months of planning,� Richardson said.

The event has been restructured and is now being sponsored by Richardson’s fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi.
