The term 'DYNAMIC' can be defined as continuously changing or developing and also describes the abundance of ideas and enthusiasm. The creation and development of new concepts for packaging systems is challenging because of the dynamic stages in the design process. Carefully planned and well-executed package design is a part of the promotion mix that can affect consumer perceptions of tangible and intangible product attributes and generate benefits that result in positive consumer response. Many students struggle with achieving good levels of innovation in their design proposals. The root cause of the problems may be related to different stages in the design process, such as difficulties in building empathy, rigid problem-framing, narrow exploration of different design solutions and lack of in-depth exploration of each solution. This book provides articles from an academician of the Printing Technology Department, UiTM and a brief insight into the outcome of 14 weeks of rigorous packaging design and development by the Printing Technology Department, Faculty of Art and Design, Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Selangor, Kampus Puncak Alam. Every semester, students undergo their final assessment which includes numerous sketches, technical drawings, prototypes/mock-ups, printed graphics and verbal presentations for a panel of internal and external examiners to provide insights on their work for that semester. Works are presented and compiled in a simplified manner to provide the reader with an overview of the thinking and the design process involved in package development. We hope some of the exceptional works presented here can trigger meaningful dialogues about what packaging in the 21st century should be like and provide inspiration to other students.

RINTING has always been a part of our life, and it exists in many forms of products. It ranges from reading materials to food packaging, to electronic items. The differences in producing those items are in the printing process. Currently, we are seeing an increase in demand for printing products. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the demand for the packaged products that need to be shipped increases. Packaging design requires the expertise of the printers to produce them. With the whole world enforcing lockdown, the only way to get food and other products is by delivery. And with delivery comes the demand for print packaging products. Packaging has been around for centuries but in different forms and materials. Today, the demand for packaging of any goods is on the rise, mainly for doorto-door delivery. Each item sold online would need to have proper packaging and then be shipped via the postal service or courier safely. This semester, the printing students from UiTM ventured into the print packaging world to help SME companies to come out with innovative packaging to help with the marketing of their products. Students studied their clients’ products and proposed innovative packaging to help secure their clients’ products and to level up with their competitors. Some of the products produced by the students are for clients such as Wau Animation Studios (Ejen Ali), Bukit Kepong Emergency
UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA (UiTM)
Gallery (PDRM), Iamfamous, NH Yati Cream & Cheese, Shazzmin Empire, and many more. A lot of innovative ideas put into the packaging products are in the form of design and technology –with the use of Augmented Reality (AR) embedded in the design to help in providing more information about the products and to help in sales and marketing of the products. Crossmedia products (print + computer technology such as AR), can capture audiences easily and create demand and sales for the products. This can be seen in some of the products produced by the students this semester for their clients. Congratulations to batch 41st Printing Technology students’ group – DYNAMIC, on their accomplishments in producing products of industry standards. And thank you to all companies involved in this project.
Today, the demand for packaging of any goods is on the rise, mainly for doortodoor delivery.

ANY changes have been taken place and gone through since The revolutionary development starting from Gutenberg to the present day. Nowadays, the global printing industries are declining. The printing industries and certain print product segments changes drastically especially in the publishing segments and using conventional printing processes. The printing industries all over the world are trying to find new successful strategies to sustain businesses. The printing companies cannot be relying on the “old school” printing processes and print products. Among the things that have been discussed are related to the adoption of technologyn and buying equipment. However, the successful decision-making approach that assists in technology adoption is focused on the top management’s ability to make decisions based on his/her knowledge, the use of expert technical staff involved in the purchasing process and understanding the internal and external business environment. This article is trying to address the question of how the printing
10
industry especially the commercial and publishing market segments are best suited to adopt digital printing technology in the near future. Based on the literature search that was conducted found many studies state that a very effective strategy in ensuring the competitiveness of companies is to adopt digital printing technology (Cheng, 2020; Romano, 2015; Peng, 2020). Waste reduction and costeffectiveness in short-run printing, short production cycle, and variable data printing are the primary benefits of digital printing (Pardiwala, 2016; Peng, 2020; Cheng, 2020; and Sevim Yilmaz & Gulderen Cavus, 2018). In addition, here’s interesting print market data. The study has been conducted by Drupa (2018) and found that the trend of digital toner cutsheet colour (digital printing) for print volume is far ahead compared to other printing processes (Diagram 1) At the same time, Drupa (2018) has also found that the investment plans over
UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA (UiTM)
the next four years involve printing process equipment and the segment shows digital printing technology is ahead compared with other segments (Diagram 2). In conclusion, the decision to invest should be based on knowledge and understanding of the current and future trend environment. The rise of digital printing technology is greatly influenced by changes in customer demand, such as print-on-demand and variable data print products. Digital printing will provie new opportunities for print providers. Finally, digital printing technology will become an acceptable print process in the near future.

RE-PRESS has always been known from a layman’s perspective as a design department in a printing setup. However, it is not just about where the designing happens but more than that. What are the processes involved in the pre-press section in a printing company? In general, the pre-press encompasses design, desktop publishing (DTP) and platemaking. It is all the work done from receiving the work order from the client to right before the actual printing takes place. There are a lot of processes involved in the pre-press section where it can contribute to quality issues in the press and post-press section if not done properly. The common mistake found in a pre-press section are not focusing enough on ensuring the quality job done on the processes. A lot of problems and bottlenecks can be found in the pre-press workflow. Problems could start with the quality images used in the design from as simple as it is of the same quality needed for the paper that it would be printed on or not. For example, if you were to print a job on a coated art paper, the image resolution needed should be between 250 to 300 ppi. It is different if you are
What to know to avoid
BOTTLENECKS IN THE PRODUCTION printing an image on newsprint. Due to the quality of the paper (newsprint), the image resolution needed is between 70 to 100 ppi only. If wrong image resolution were used on the wrong paper, then the quality of the image printed would be of low quality, which could cause blur or expanded images. Another common problem is the wrong use of image colour mode. Most of the time is graphic designers do not change or forget to change the colour mode from RGB to CMYK for offset printing work. Failure to do so will result in the inaccuracy of colour when printed on the offset press. There is also a problem in the text colour where sometimes some body text uses CMYK colour to produce a black text. With body text being small in font size, it would be impossible to try to get the registration for a 4-colour text. Even though these problems seem small, but the impact during the printing
process is big as it involves trying to do colour correction or colour balancing during the printing process, which might not be achievable if not using the correct method in DTP processes. These problems and delays in production can be avoided by doing the pre-flight check. The pre-flight check is the final stage of checking all the digital files to make sure they are correct before sending them out for platemaking. In pre-flight, the digital file will be checked for its extensions, fonts, images (colour, format and missing images), bleed formatting, and colour profiles. Once the pre-flight check is done, then it will go for platemaking, which is the last process in the pre-press process before the actual printing starts. With the knowledge of what is important in the pre-press section, we can avoid unnecessary bottlenecks. In the end, it will save a lot of time and money for the company.

CCORDING to The Future of Global Packaging to 2024 report, the global packaging market is expected to reach $917 billion by 2019. The report also highlighted that packaging demand will grow steadily at 2.8% to reach $1.05 trillion in 2024. The sales of packaging are concentrated in Asia, which accounted for 36% of the total value in 2012. North America and Western Europe total ledshares of 23% and 22% respectively. In the same period, Eastern Europe was the fourth largest consumer of packaging with a global share of 6%, followed closely by South and Central America with 5%. The Middle East represented 3% while Africa and Australasia each had a 2% share of the
global demand for packaging. In the future, the segmentation of the market is expected to change significantly, with Asia is the largest market of world packaging consumption, followed by North America and Western Europe. The growth of the global packaging industry is driven by several trends, Global packaging, by type — 2012 Total market size = US$400b; Source: Ernst & Young. (2013). depending on geographical regions. Growing urbanization, investment in housing and construction, the development of retail chains and the burgeoning healthcare and cosmetics sectors are driving packaging demand in China, India, Brazil, Russia and other emerging countries. The rise in living standards and disposable incomes in developing nations fuels consumption across a broad range of products, with subsequent growth in demand for packaging of these goods. The sector includes five main types of packaging. Paper and board (including paper bags and cartons) were the largest consumer packaging
DEPARTMENT OF PRINTING TECHNOLOGY category with a 34% share of the total packaging market in 2012, followed by rigid plastics (tubs, pots and jars, and many more) with a 27% share. Paper, board and plastics are among the fastest-growing sectors of the market, propelled by the replacement of packaging materials such as metal and glass. Sustainable packaging is also quickly gaining momentum, driven by consumer demand and government legislation around the world. Many companies view sustainability programs as a source of innovation and social responsibility that can help in differentiation by appealing to the consciences of consumers. The most common trends in sustainable packaging are downsizing, increased use of recycled materials, renewable sourced materials, recycling, waste recovery and improvements in packaging and logistical efficiency. In the recycled material packaging segment, paper packaging is the largest market, followed by metal, glass and plastic. Paper-based packaging provides versatile and responsible solutions for product manufacturers, retailers and consumers as papers can be fully recycled and come from renewable trees. As highlighted by the report, 5 major trends for the global packaging market: Sustainability and environmental issues will be a continued focus, particularly in Western Europe this will put pressure on non-recyclable plastics packaging
consumption. As a result of this, the demand for more easily recyclable and sustainable packaging materials such as paper and board, recycled PET (rPET), and bioplastics. Next, more spending on packaged products, including food, luxury products and cosmetics will become a norm in Asia and other developing regions with the rising of real incomes. In addition, the flexible packaging sector will replace traditional packaging. The traditional packaging of rigid pack formats, such as metl tins and glass jars will be challenged by more sophisticated high-barrier films and retort stand-up pouches for a wide range of food products. From
the consumer perspective, there will be a growing concern for health and wellness. The healthcare packaging market value growing ahead of pharmaceutical consumption. The increased awareness of convenience and security, including child-resistant closures and tamper evidence, features attributed to this growing demand. Another important point related to consumer demand is in the food sector, where the demand for convenience in food will see increased consumption of microwavable ready meals, more portable packaging, packaging for on-the-go consumption, and convenience features, such as easyopen and reseal components.

POP DISPLAY OF TODAY
BY AEZZADDIN AISYAH ZAINUDDIN LECTURER
P
OINT Of Purchase displays, also known as POPdisplays, is a marketing material or an advertising placed next to the merchandise it is promoting. It is generally located in the checkout area or other location where the purchase decision is made. These products may be new, a special offer, or may promote special events, such as seasonal or holiday-time sales. POP displays can take various forms, including printed marketing materials on retail floor stands and counters, end caps, power wings or sidekick displays, as well as exhibition and trade show materials,
14
shelf-mounted signs, and hanging posters. Furthermore, these POP displays can be made of cardboard, foam board, or Perspex stands covered with plastic. These materials are easily replaceable. New and improved combinations of inks, media, hardware, and software have changed the landscape of this marketing component. Advances in printing technology provided us with a wider range of materials that were printed for commercial use containing brighter colours, outstanding pictures and designs as well as interactive capability. Not only it is created for eyecatching display stands thatare practical for holding stock, but it also advertises a product coinciding with the introduction of selfservice retail. Geographically, North America produces the largest quantity of POP, followed closely by Asia and Western Europe. Most of the revenue volume today is produced by inkjet devices. It is followed by sheet-fed offset lithography, screen printing, flexography and electrophotography. Additionally, the need for rapid updating, shortrun, versioning output has never been greater too. Many retailers and brand managers are seeking hypercustomized POP displays. The most effective pieces today reflects timelimited deals, language differences, regional preferences, special events, and holidays, among other market-specific needs and buyer demographics. The current retail environment requires more short runs and more personalization. Thus, digital printing technology
UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA (UiTM)
would complement this market need. Although the pandemic is affecting the consumer experience in-store, POP displays are still projected to be the leading channel in reaching consumers at retail. The integration of conventional types of POP display, mobile application, and digital technology such as augmented reality or RFID technology changes the production of this marketing segmentation. Consequently, it will still drive the conventional printing components, and it would also offer a new market to digital printing, 3D printing and printed electronic components. The deployment of suitable printing processes and technology would enable the increase of efficiencies and improve the effectiveness of the function of POP display in today’s retail marketing landscape.

PROTECTION/PRESERVATION BASIC function of package is to protect and preserve the contents during transit from the manufacturer to the ultimate consumer. It is the protection during transport and distribution; From climatic effects (heat and cold, moisture, vapor, drying atmospheres); from hazardous substances and contaminants; and from infestation. Protection is required against transportation hazards spillage, dirt, ingress and egress of moisture, insect infection, contamination by foreign material, tampering pilferage etc. A package should preserve the contents in ‘Factory Fresh’ condition during the period of storage and transportation, ensuring protection from bacteriological attacks, chemical reaction etc. a. Chemical protection Minimizes compositional changes triggered
b. Biological protection Provides a barrier to microorganisms (pathogens and spoiling agents), insects, rodents, and other animals, thereby preventing disease and spoilage. c. Physical protection Shields food from mechanical damage and includes cushioning against the shock and vibration encountered during distribution. CONTAINMENT Most products must be contained before they can be moved from one place to another. To function successfully, the package must contain the product. This containment function of packaging makes a huge contribution to protecting the environment. A better packaging help to maintain the quality of the product and reachability of the product in the consumer’s hand without spillages. It gives better image to the organization. COMMUNICATION A major function of packaging is the communication of the product. A package must communicate what it sells. When international trade is involved and different languages are spoken, the use of unambiguous, readily understood symbols on the distribution package is essential. It is the interest further that to get appropriate communication to the
consumer about the product, how to use it and other utility information. Packaging protects the interests of consumers. Information includes quantity; price; inventory levels; lot number; distribution routes; size; elapsed time since packaging; color; and merchandising and premium data. CONVENIENCE Convenience features such as ease of access, handling, and disposal; product visibility; resealability; and microwavability greatly influence package innovation. MARKETING AND INFORMATION A package is the face of a product and often is the only product exposure consumers experience prior to purchase. Consequently, distinctive or innovative packaging can boost sales in a competitive environment. The package may be designed to enhance the product image and/or to differentiate the product from the com- petition. Packaging also provides information to the consumer. For example, package labelling satisfies legal requirements for product identification, nutritional value, ingredient declaration, net weight, and manufacturer information.

The current packaging that they use was just a plastic container and also just a sticker to represent the company which was not proper. The seller will give a plastic bag to the customer, which does not provide a proper place to put the chopsticks. They are using just a plastic container as packaging and just clip it which the probability of the container being opened was high and with that, the product inside was not secure enough. The purpose of this sleeve was to protect the product inside. Other than that, the sleeve is to attract all the new customers and also their current customers.
The primary aim of this sleeve is to make it easier for the customer to carry the product because the sleeve has a handle. Food packaging is an additional need to make it look attractive so that it could attract customers with the unique packaging and thus, can urge customers to do impulse buying. A printed sleeve takes up less space in the printing paper so it is more cost-effective than a 6 - sided box, which can double the use of paper and ink. With the sleeve, we can also dress up any product with a customize packaging sleeve.
RESEARCH PROCESS
VALUE ADDED The explored concept of compartmentalization allows Takoishu. officialhq’s sleeve to be more practical. Sleeve packaging with handles is rarely in food sales such as sushi hence to propose to customers change from the use of plastic bags. Besides that, the new packaging is designed with eye-catching prints which could help attract consumers. Future research of how Augmented Reality (AR) can be integrated into Takoishu’s of sleeve packaging.

DEPARTMENT OF PRINTING TECHNOLOGY THE CAKE PACKAGING WITH HANDLE FOR KEDAI KOPI CHANTEK SIJANGKANG SOFEA NAJIHAH BINTI SAHRONI 2018222842
INTRODUCTION
USEFULNESS
Packaging emerged in the 19th century as new technologies enabled manufacturers and growers to supply their products to stores in pre-packaged formats. For the first time, these technologies enable growers to harvest their products while it is still fresh, and transports them to the market. This also means that the product manufacturers could pack products in an attractive way for the merchants to sell. The principal role of food packaging is to protect food products from outside influences and damage and to provide consumers with ingredients and nutritional information. Kedai Kopi Chantek Sijangkang has their own packaging but they used a transparent plastic container for primary packaging recently. This transformation is made to make it easier for users to carry the cakes properly. Based on the researcher’s view, cake packaging with a handle can simplify the way of packaging, on how to carry them and also saves time and ensures the safety of the cakes. The height of the cake is 3 inches but the height of thre previous packaging is 3 inches too. In addition, this new packaging is created together with a design that could fit the cakes in perfectly. This packaging which represents the products is available in Kedai Kopi Chantek Sijangkang.
The creation of packaging is to protect the products on the inside. Packaging must keep the products safe during shipment. Many companies pack their products with seals and locks that prevent tampering and to ensure further safety and integrity of the product. The design of the packaging is based on the logo and the concept of the shop. The concept of the shop is more to a brown colour used so does the colour of the cakes.
VALUE ADDED The added value of the packaging is that it comes with a handle that is more practical and easier to carry. Additionally, future research will be look into Augumented Reality (AR) using Artitive App.
CONCLUSION In conclusion, the creation of the packaging can improve the brand image and the company that will get accepted by the consumers. The creation of packaging with a handle is more practical and it is easier for consumers to carry the products.

The custom packaging sleeves are made by professionals who use special type of materials to cover the boxes and create a barrier so that no air can enter inside the box. This creates an environment that is germ free and protects the goods. The boxes offer great protection to the contents from damage, and they also prevent pests such as insects and rodents from getting into the goods. In this article I am going to discuss the benefits of custom packaging.
RESEARCH PROCESS
VALUE ADDED I decided to make sleeves packaging to cover the plastic container with interesting design. It also looks creative in its purest state in order to attract the consumer’s attention. Plus since the sleeves is applied to the packaging with heat, it is possible to adapt it any shape and size. So assuring that their packaging is creative is not a problem if they use sleeves packaging.

INTRODUCTION
USEFULNESS
The main function of packaging is to communicate with consumers while protecting the physical products from the environment. The packaging consists of primary packaging and secondary packaging. Observation shows that the current coffee carrier does not fulfil some of the functional aspects that packaging must perform. It lacks in terms of communication, utility and protection. Additionally, the practicality needs to be improved to meet customer needs. Therefore, there is a need to develop a proper coffee carrier for the convenience of the customer. User and product-centric approaches were considered in the design and development of this packaging. The aim of this study is to design and develop a practical coffee carrier through systematic way of product development with the integration of print production workflow.
This coffee carrier was designed to contain a secure compartment when the carrier is being supported by a handle structure mounted above the cups so that the force of gravity holds them in an upright position to facilitate customers carrying double drinks at one time. With the new practical coffee carrier, the marketability value of their product and company branding can be upgraded as a surface for communicating knowledge, information and the brand which is an important component of product branding that can add more emphasis to their business growth.
The added value innovation that was implemented by the researcher is augmented reality (AR) technology by using Artivive App as a tool to enhance the consumer’s experience of new dimensions of art by linking the physical packaging with digital technology about the company branding by using the Android or IOS platform.

INTRODUCTION
USEFULNESS
Una Coffee was founded by Dr Aida Firdaus Muhammad Nurul Azmi (also known as Dr Aida Azmi) who is a senior lecturer in the Food Science and Technology Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA Shah Alam. Una Coffee is the first product created by Fav Food Industries. This cafe operates since 11 July 2019. The products of Una Coffee are selling by their stockists and agents. Una Coffee is loaded with protein which helps to boost energy and to stay active all day long.
This is a new innovation of packaging because it uses only one die-cut block to combine the inner packaging. This packaging is able to compete with the other product packagings in the market. Other than that, nowadays, it is not easy to find a packaging that uses only one die-cut for their packaging.

INTRODUCTION
USEFULNESS
Packaging refers to all activities related to designing, evaluating and producing the appearance of a box for a product. The product is stored to protect it from any physical damage and at the same time attracts customers. The packaging helps in increasing the brand recognition among the customers. As soon as the customers see the package, they can instantly relate it to the company or brand. Dewi Kay Resources is an internal and external health and facial skincare company that is founded by Rokiah Abu Bakar. This company was established in Tasek Gelugor, Penang on 8 February 2018. This company previously uses plastic seal bags to pack the combo set products. They don’t have specific box packaging for the combo set. The objective of this packaging is to combine the two items in one innovative packaging box for Dewi Kay Resources skincare products.
The use of this packaging is to protect the goods from damage. In fact, this can also increase the value of packaging quality. The packaging conveys the information needed to consumers to give some knowledge about the product. The general information provided by the packaging includes the general characteristics of the product, the ingredients, the weight of the contents, the name and address of the manufacturer.
RESEARCH PROCESS
VALUE ADDED The innovation made for this product is by combining two products in the same box so that the packaging method for combo sets is easier. By using this box packaging, it can help to protect the product and improve the quality of the product. QR code is also added and used on the packaging to make it easier for users to access their social media, mainly Facebook.

INTRODUCTION
USEFULNESS
Packaging is the science, art, and technology of enclosing or protecting products for distribution, storage, sale, and use. Packaging also refers to the process of design, evaluation, and production of packages. In short, packaging can be described as a coordinated system of preparing goods for transport, warehousing, logistics, sale, and end-use. Packaging contains, protects, preserves, transports, informs and sells. Next, Cosmetic packaging refers to cosmetic containers (primary packaging) as well as secondary packaging for fragrances and cosmetic products. Cosmetic products are substances intended for human cleansing, beautification, and enhancement of appearance without affecting the structure or functions of the body. Aside from that, first impressions are crucial, and the packaging acts as the first introduction of the product. As a result, manufacturers should never overlook about product packaging.
This combo packaging includes windows to allow buyers to have a look at the product on the inside. Furthermore, the colours used on this packaging is a combination that represents the colour of women, which is a soft colour. Additionally, this combo packaging makes it simple for sellers to pack. Finally, this combo packaging can help to promote the company’s brand, logo, and products.
The problem statement for this product is that it has combo product sales but no combo packaging. So, the objectives of this research are to create combo packaging for combo sale products and to facilitate the work of delivery, storage and exhibition of goods.

DEPARTMENT OF PRINTING TECHNOLOGY SERUM PACKAGING FOR AURAA CARE BEAUTY NURFARINA ALEA BINTI MOHD ARIS 2018248492
INTRODUCTION
USEFULNESS
Auraa Care Beauty was founded by Anjali and it operates at the end of April 2019. They have two types of products which is the Treatment Serum and 2 in 1 Cleansing Mousse. Auraa Care Beauty uses social media like Instagram and Facebook to promote their products and to make consumers acknowledge them. The problem statement is Treatment serum does not have secure packaging and the product is in the form of glass which has the risk to break. The treatment Serum only uses bubble wrap when it is sent to customers. Treatment Serum also doesn’t have enough information in the bottle such as the ingredients, expiry date, how to use, price and many more. The objective of this observation is to create packaging for the treatment serum to protect the glass container from getting damaged. Besides that, the new packaging needs to be able to attract customer’s eye with its attractive packaging in order to portray the quality of the skincare product under good condition. Lastly, it Is to provide useful information about the products like the ingredients and expiry date.
The Serum packaging functions as a protector for the product and the risk of rupture is low because the serum packaging has a hole at the bottom and at the top to make the treatment serum not moving. The colour for the packaging is pastel colour. Aloe vera is used as the main ingredient on the front packaging. Furthermore, with the attractive packaging, it can gain many consumer’s trust because of the information displayed on the packaging.

The serum packaging has 1 diecut and included a QR code on the back of the packaging, consumers can scan the QR code that will direct to the website in order to check whether the serum is a fake or original product.
In conclusion, the packaging gives more benefits to consumers because it has complete information and gives more security to the product from getting broken. The product uses natural ingredients that can make consumers have more trust and feel safe to use it. Also, this will make the sales revenue of product increase.

INTRODUCTION
USEFULNESS
PrettyCaked Cosmetics, with its co-founder, Zulaikha Zainal, is a cosmetics company created by Zakirah Zainal. In September 2017, in Bangi, Selangor, PrettyCaked Cosmetics was established. After some observations, the researcher discovered from the previous combo system that the combo was only distributed to the consumers through a transparent plastic bag that posed a risk to the product itself and that Milk Gentle Cleanser sales were very poor. The researcher therefore, suggested an appropriate material and a new packaging combo for Milk Gentle Cleanser & Glow Activator Ampoule products. In order to improve the selling of the Cleanser, it will be combined with one of the highest sales of the Serum formula, Glow Activator Ampoule. This is to secure and lower the risk of harm to the product. This is to ensure it can draw more potential customers and boost sales. Other than that, the use of plastic as a container is avoided and the use of box packaging is modified to illustrate the value of the products and produce a single die-cut combo for the product.
The researcher’s improvements in skincare products are introducing several innovations such as QR code and Augmented Reality (AR) to improve the product’s value. The product is based on organic ingredients and it can hit in commercial marketing. The new packaging also improves the name and profits of the company compared to the use of plastic bags that do not have a business identity, and thus, the new packaging has a QR code for consumers to scan and get more information about the company and the product itself
RESEARCH PROCESS
CONCLUSION
VALUE ADDED The latest packaging would improve the attractiveness of the product and upgrade the product for protection. The new packaging has sufficient material and design to encourage the consumers to purchase the product and allows the customers to recognize the product in the packaging with the QR code Augmented Reality (AR). Rising company profits will then be a business innovation.

INTRODUCTION
USEFULNESS
Packaging is used for containing, enclosing and protecting respective products from damages and harm during the distribution, transportation, storage and sale. It can also be a marketing platform to identify, describe, inform and promote the product to potential customers. From the observation, it reveals that a lot of skincare lotions do not have secondary packaging hence the possibility of being exposed to any damage is likely higher due to the contradictory characteristics of each product. The objective of this study is to design and develop packaging by concentrating on both product and user aspects. Furthermore, this project aims to enhance the communication, protection and its practicality through a systematized and fitting industrial standard of offset lithography printing process workflows.
The insert was added in order to secure the product inside by stabilizing it. With secondary packaging, it enlarges space for storage due to its practicality of being able to stack up and neatly organized. It also prevents the lotion from spilling into the environment since it can be harmful. Moreover, the marketability of the product can be strengthened by the visually appealing design with sufficient related information as a marketing tool to convey the message of the product to possible consumers.

INTRODUCTION
USEFULNESS
A postcard is a printed card that has its own value. Postcards are also available in places that have tourist attractions such as museums, galleries or street arts in Malaysia. Postcards also serve to give a message to the recipient about the atmosphere experienced by the sender. Postcards serve to provide something unique and rare. The uniqueness is conveyed through pictures and captions placed on the card. The idea to produce a product for the Bukit Kepong Emergency Gallery aims to help this gallery earn more income because this gallery is a memorial gallery of the police station incident that was attacked by the Communist terrorists. The purpose of making postcards is to encourage visitors to have memories that can be shared with other communities.
The uniqueness of this product is the design. The theme chosen is war. Which fully uses pictures from policemen of the Bukit Kepong Police Station. This postcard has 12 different designs and has something to highlight. This postcard is also presented with a stand to make it easier for buyers to keep it and use it as a decoration.
